Major League Baseball IQ: The Ultimate Test of True Fandom

I am an avid baseball fan and knew very few of the answers to the questions posed in this book. The writing is good and the author presents the information very informatively, but the book is not what I thought it would be. It is not a book of baseball trivia. It is too much in the weeds even for avid fans. It would be better served if it were advertised as a book of interesting baseball history with the questions omitted. Reading it did not make me feel good. It became tedious and I stopped reading it less than halfway through.

My nephew thought this was a great way to challenge his knowledge about baseball. He says he knew a lot and learned a lot from making wrong answers and researching and asking question of family members and friends who all love the game.

My son lived this

Three reasons I love this baseball trivial book. One, the difficulty of the questions runs the gamut. From very easy to ridiculously hard. Two the questions of a similar topic are published in groups of ten that make up the top or bottom half of an "inning." Three, the questions cover all eras of the game. Many other trivia books have #1 and #3 but the innings make this one of the best I have read.

When I first got the book I was hoping for a good quiz book for my husband. When I opened its I was kind of disappointed at the amount of questions and I felt that that the questions almost repeated themselves. In the end we did the quiz in less then 10 minutes and wasn't very entertaining.

I didn't do so good.
