Live CleanBali Oil Nourishing Body Lotion, 17 Oz

I try really hard NOT to leave all positive reviews but to discuss the cons of a product as well - since in general, every product, no matter how good, is going to carry some kind of con. Right?.....I don't know how this company managed to create the perfect body lotion for this cheap, but they did......I'm a bit of a body lotion snob. I have to be. Sensitive AND dry skin plus eczema makes finding lotions a chore because I have to carefully read ingredient lists. And while I WILL pay upwards of $10 for a rich, natural lotion, I'm not really crazy about it, and constantly look for trade-offs and deals which can get the job done for less.This lotion is so freaking cheap compared to other lotions of this type, I was a little suspicious when I ordered it. I expected to get some form of an unpleasant surprise when I opened the box today and put some on. No. It's absolutely wonderful.No skin irritation, and it even doesn't irritate my eczema, which is probably thanks to oat flour being among the first listed ingredients. Despite being eczema friendly, it is also very rich in moisture and conditioning/nourishing properties. It soaks right in with no greasy or waxy feel afterward. My skin just feels healthy, smooth, and happy. The scent is mild, but pleasant, and fades quickly. I'm also now mostly through the day... and still haven't needed to reapply, except when I wash my hands of course.Now, I've made my own skincare products in the past. I know it's no miracle this company offered this at this price. What is shocking about it is that typically companies upcharge on these ingredients because they're so popular, even though they are indeed mostly dirt cheap. For once, someone is being honest in the pricing, and I really hope that this company gets well rewarded for it in sales.The lotion came packaged in a plastic bag, but there was no sticker on the top to keep the cap secure. The cap lock came undone, and the cap unscrewed a little during shipping, so there was a tiny bit of lotion that got out. It wasn't a mess, though, so I'm not going to ding them for that. However, to the seller: You will save MUCH money in replacement shipments if you just stick some tape over the cap before bagging it.Overall, I can see no reason not to give this product six stars, nor can I come up with any tips or warnings for any kind of "cons". This may change in the future, but I doubt it. If it DOES change, I'll come back and update this review. In the meantime, though, if this review sticks... know that it's because I could not be any happier with this. :)

The Bali Oil Lotion has a light exotic scent.. nothing strong or heavy.. just light enough to be a tease. That's how I like scented lotions. And it moisturizes very well without any greasy feel. I usually apply lotion after morning shower and have to reapply some more by midday because my legs will start to look ashy. But with Live Clean, I only have to use in the morning and it lasts all day. It's now my fave body lotion!

So I've been searching for a good lotion that didn't test on animals and I can honestly say I didn't realize how hard it would be. With all the other lotions if I liked the lotion itself I couldn't stand the smell and if I liked the smell the lotion was horrid. This one seems to be a nice balance. It goes on smoothly doesn't leave you sticky and absorbs in quickly. I wash my hands often so I do have to reapply it a couple times a day on my hands. The smell is a very subtle coconut, which is probably my only complaint I wish I could smell a little more coconut. However the smell being so subtle I can get the boys to use it as well without them deeming it as "girly" and refusing to use it.

Use this as an all over body lotion. It has a light scent. It’s a nice, clean scent. The lotion is great. It does a good job of moisturizing your skin but it feels light and absorbs well. In my book you can’t beat the deal on this lotion. It’s now my favorite.

I love the smell of this, and the velvety texture is a great. The drawback is it doesn't moisturize like products with dimethicone, but that's basically plastic, and I'm trying to avoid that to begin with. Otherwise, it's wonderful.
