As the title states this is our second purchase. This coffee table https://www.amazon.com/International-Concepts-OT-5C-Phillips-Unfinished/dp/B0029LHT02/ref=sr_1_41?keywords=table+for+international+concepts&qid=1696044250&sr=8-41 we purchased in January, 2020. These new end tables match well. Very sturdy and simple design that will last decades.We bought two of these end tables and these were sanded smoother than the coffee table. Many people mentioned in their reviews that sanding is needed prior to coating, but unlike the coffee table that needed sanding, these end table did not. I used Minwax clear satin wipe-on polyurethane for the coffee table and these end tables. I applied two coats using a 3M blue no-scratch pad in between and after final coat. Parawood is porous and with a poly coating you can expect some minor blotching. I've read many articles and reviews concerning parawood and the use of various coatings such as poly, shellac, danish oils, etc. Pretty much all info points to blotchiness when coating parawood (rubber-wood).Due to it's porous nature and grain pattern, in my opinion no amount of sanding is going to prevent some blotching. To me it's a minor issue considering the price and quality of IC's products.

Solid wood construction- easy to assemble- bought mine in unfinished so I could paint the color I desired - I painted with one sample size Kilz paint and primer (available on Amazon)- the coastal handle was also purchased on Amazon—Bought to use in my beach camper

I’ve bought so much from this brand. The quality is so legit. I’ve been using this for almost 10 months. It doesn’t even wobble. Because it’s real wood, I was able to stain it and it matches everything else I have. I will continue to buy from this brand as I’ve been so impressed. The value for the money is just too good!

I love this end table. I painted mine to match two other tables for my living room. I painted it a gray taupe with a mat finish polyurethane and it turned out beautiful and I am very happy with it. The only negative which is very minor is that the directions are hard to follow and not very informative. I had to study them for each step so I didn’t get the parts confused.

The fit and finish of this item is EXCELLENT! All of the boards run the entire length of each piece without finger joint which is awesome! All pieces are sanded to perfection and fit together perfectly. Super easy to assemble. Highly recommend!

I love this table. I originally got the triangular corner table from this same company/seller and liked it so much that I bought this one. I use them for my massage therapy business, and they fit my room perfectly. This rectangular end table is the perfect size for my hot stone warmer, towels and towel basket, and I couldn’t be happier. Very easy to put together and extremely sturdy. I like the natural look so I’m not going to paint them, but I do recommend a clear sealer if you want to keep the look like I am - since it is raw wood, any water spillage will cause the wood to get a little rough, and too much spillage overtime will cause warping (that didn’t happened to me, but I used to work in the lumber industry so I know it can happen). Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this product and this company, and I highly recommend.

I worried it would be made of thin, flimsy wood, but it is not! I was happy to see that it is heavy wood, solid, and sanded very smooth. Very happy with this purchase.
