Unable to coonect to my windows 10 Port not found error 2
I was looking forward to using my Baogeng UV5R with Chirp. When using this cable with chirp and my transceiver I had issues connecting on windows 10 PC. The errors were as followsERROR 2 unable to locate portIn device manager:The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)There are no compatible drivers for this device.To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.Update driver.Windows could not fine drivers for this device/ contact device manufacturer for driver update.So for some versions of windows 10 his may work. ON mine there was no way I could see any available ports to connect to and the device always gave an error.I did post the question of how to resolve this on the seller's page for this lead, but to date, I have no response. This is not plug and play in all scenarios, unfortunately, and therefore I cannot complete a full review on the product.The claims that there are "No Driver Issues - No old drivers needed - Plug and PlayUnlike the common "clone" USB programming Cables available Amazon - These cables just work!" does not seem to be the case here.In the event that I find a resolution for this, I'll update this review.

took a few minutes to install the software and get it up and running. after that it was simple plug n play.

Consistently good cable quality. It simply works
This is my second Baofeng compatible usb cable ordered from Dragon trading. I can quite happily say that the quality of the cable is consistent and it arrives with the same software disk.I've only tested using my existing Chirp software, but the cable plugs straight into my UV-5R radio and works immediately.This is comparable to other official cables and is definitely one to recommend, albeit that it's not the cheapest.
