Great shampoo! Stopped the sheading. Smells great too!!
I have thinning hair in the typical areas. Receding hairline, bald spot on the crown of my head. Basically I'm a typical male pattern baldness victim looking to reverse time and maybe reverse some hair loss, lol. I wish I was one of those people that just doesn't care and I could just move on with my life but, what can I say, here we are. I've been using this shampoo for 3 solid weeks. Smells good and feels good! That was a surprise to me. For some reason I thought it had to smell bad but it is actually quite pleasant. To be fair and forward, so far, I haven't seen or noticed much if any regrowth, but I do believe I have to use it at least a full month before I would see actual regrowth. I can certainly feel my hair is stronger and fuller. I seem to have almost completely stopped sheading too which is a great start, am I right? I've been using this shampoo in combination with the Pronexa Hair Growth Supplements. Overall my experience has been positive and I will continue to use these products as long as I feel that it is working for me. Is this the miracle cure for baldness? No, probably not. Does it help stop the hair loss? Yes it does so far. Does it regrow hair? Remains to be seen. I'm sure there will be regrowth from follicles that are still not completely inactive. I would recommend trying this shampoo. Good luck to you!!

It actually works!
Every now and then, I start shedding more hair than is normal for me. More often than not, it's related to diet. But this time was different. I started losing ALOT of hair. It's true that my diet had drastically changed, so I started taking biotin supplements - in the past, that worked for me. This time it just wasn't working. I read several review of this product by users as well as professionals. I consulted with my physician. I really don't like minoxidil, so I decided to give this a try. I admit I thought twice about it. I haven't had a lot of luck with shampoos that address this issue and this stuff isn't cheap. I'm SO glad I made the purchase. First off, it's a nice shampoo! Sometimes treatment shampoos can be funky - this isn't. I like the way my hair feels when I use it, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, after just a few uses, the shedding has diminished significantly. It's too early for me to assess whether this affects regrowth. I guess we'll see. I will comeback and add to my review one way or the other after some time has passed. I have ALOT of hair and what I've lost isn't significant enough to really be noticeable to anyone but me. However, if it continued the way it was going, I knew I'd be in trouble. I so relieved to find something that works for me. It isn't cheap, but it works. That's good enough for me. I definitely recommend it.

Works!
EDIT 9/8/17: I have upgraded my review from 1 star to 4. My husband is actually showing some regrowth. The regrowth is very fine and white, but it's regrowth! This product may have caused some frustration for us in the beginning, but after using what was left and seeing results, I can't stay mad. If you have alopecia and you're trying to find something quick and easy to help keep your head healthy and promote regrowth, I definitely suggest this product. I am very dissatisfied with this purchase. I ordered one bottle a few days ago, and when I received it, the shampoo had leaked all over the place. The shampoo is wrapped in a sealed bag and put in a box with no protection. I opened the box, opened the bag, and was greeted with a sticky mess. Green slime everywhere. Even saturated the little promo paper it's sent with. I contacted Amazon and they got me a new bottle for free. I washed off the bottle that I had, which was missing about 1/4th of the product, and had my husband try it. I bought it for him to see if it would help his alopecia. The shampoo is very thin an does not lather. It has a refreshing mint scent, but you have to use quite a lot of product to coat your head if you have thick or long hair. Very frustrating. I just received my replacement bottle. IT IS EVEN WORSE THAN THE FIRST. Let me tell you folks, this stuff is STICKY. At least half of the product had leaked out this time! I took pictures of the bottle because this is absolutely unacceptable for such a small, expensive bottle of shampoo. I paid $39.99 for an 8oz. bottle of shampoo, and I am not even sure if I have 8oz between both bottles I received because so much leaked out. I am extremely dissatisfied in this product, which is a shame because we did a lot of research and we were excited to try it out and see if it helped.

nutrients can easily reach the hair and make the hair strong (strong ...
Tried Pronexa shampoo for the first time today. My hair fells clean and soft. Read about the main ingredients. Cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine an inner salt derived from the fatty acids of coconut oil. It acts as a foaming agent, conditioner, anti-static agent, surfactant and thickener (increases the viscosity or thickness of the product not hair). As a mild surfactant, it gently cleanses the hair and helps deliver other ingredients contained in the product. PEG-150 Distearate ingredients clean hair by helping water to mix with oil and dirt so that they can be rinsed away. They also help to form emulsions by reducing the surface tension of the substances to be emulsified and help other ingredients to dissolve. these are the reason my hair feels so clean. Aloe Vera has enzymes that help to remove the dead skin cells that clog the pores on the scalp. By opening the hair follicles, nutrients can easily reach the hair and make the hair strong (strong hair doesn’t have split ends or hair breakage). Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory properties. MSM helps in tissue repair, helps your body build collagen, the protein that keeps hair supple. Biotin is considered one of the best vitamins for hair growth. Though biotin is good for hair loss, it is highly and positively reviewed for hair growth. I know it will take months for me to see a noticeable improvement using this product, but I have very high hopes it will work considering the ingredients it contains.

Used it for 6 months. Did not help with hair loss
Writing a comprehensive review on a bunch of hair loss products in the hope it will help people in my same situation! Started losing hair as a 16 year old girl. By 26 I had maybe 20% of what I had growing up. It was debilitating. I have tried every single possible thing for it, a lot of items from Amazon. MY HAIR STOPPED FALLING OUT AND IS GROWING BACK! FIRST: Go see a doctor! Even if it's just your primary care doctor. Ask for a preventitive full blood count test. I wish I would have done this years ago. Turned out I was deficient in 3 nutrients: vitamin B, vitamin D and iron. Surprise surprise these are the top contributors to healthy hair! Also (not sure for men), but ladies, go see a dermatologist as well. They may be able to prescribe something like spironolactone to help your hormones adjust which could be a leading cause in your hair loss. Nutrafol: My hair STOPPED falling out after about 2 months on multivitamins + iron supplements +Nutrafol (nutrafol recommended by my dermatologist). Not sure if it's the Nutrafol that is working wonders, or if it's a combination of that plus other stuff, but I'm not planning on stopping it. Minoxidil/Rogain for women products: used these for a decade. Never did anything for me. However the dermatologist recommended I keep using minoxidil after I started taking supplements so imma keep using them even though they legit did nothing for me. Laser helmet: this thing actually works. I used it for about a year before discovering my nutrient deficiencies, and even without taking multivitamins and such, I definitely noticed a decrease in hair fall. I'm going to keep using the laser helmet because I truly believe this stimulated hair growth. Dont get the laser comb, its worthless. Get the helmet. Nioxin: I'm very confused around how this product works. I think it just makes existing hair stands thicker? - Shampoo is not bad - The spray stuff in the foam format sucks. It just does. It leaves your hair super crusty and I dont see the benefit if it - The dry shampoo is amazing for volumizing and making your hair look thicker 10/10 reccomend. A product I used in a similar fashion was l'oreal root cover up. It kinda stains your scalp and makes it less noticeable. Highly reccomend that too if you want to be more confident about your hair. - All other sorts of "hair growth" topical products that are not minoxidil. If you actually have hair loss from the scalp (not just breakage of damaged hair) these dont work. They just dont. I've tried so many different things, argan, coconut, olive oils, lemongrass, essential oils, deep masks, "hair fertilizer", etc. I'm just gonna give these 0 stars because they do not work if you are experiencing real hair loss. They are great to make existing hair healthier, but too many of these products either market towards "hair loss", or legit say "give us a 5 star review we will send you an amazon gift card" and so the reviews are all skewed and wrong. I feel like someone needs to post a truthful review about them and say they do not actually work for hair loss, they are just hair conditioners on steroids Lastly, if you have the money for it, look into PRP therapy for hair loss. Dont go to weird pyramid scheme "bosley" or "restore". Just talk to your doctor or dermatologist about it.

Post partum hair loss
I def think the whole line works if you use it consistently and probably for over 2-3 months. It smells and feels rich in product but warning these bottles are super small for the price and I have used other brands the give you more quantity for the same quality and price so I’m going g back to those. The conditioner is not designed to smooth corse hair. So I use it as a treatment or mask then I have to apply a conditioner to finalize and smooth hair. If you bought it don’t return it. It’s a great product. But don’t buy again bcs the price is too high for its amount.

Love this shampoo.....great product at a great price
I HAD very thick, natural curl and wavy hair until I started the medication Toprimate about a year ago. Within 5 months I noticed very heavy shedding and LOTS of hair in the shower. I stopped the medication immediately after researching and reading reviews on the medicine. But the hair just kept falling out, A friend at a Dermatologist office recommended 3 top hair care products they tell their patients about. Pronexa was 1 of the 3. The other 2 were quite expensive, but the reviews of all 3 were almost the same in performance and customer satisfaction, ratings were close to the same also. So, since I'm on a budget, but with a real problem, I chose Pronexa. I LOVE IT...it lathers up with just using a small amount and rinsed out leaving no residue feeling. And the conditioner made my hair feel soft. Both products really made my hair feel clean, not heavy like some shampoos and conditioners. After drying, hair looked full, fluffy and healthy. I've noticed less shedding and less hair in the shower. Even if hair grows back...I believe I'll keep using the products. "Chemicals" vs. all "natural" products??? I'll take the all natural Pronexa.

Really does repair hair!
I gave this one quite a while before reviewing because they offer a free bottle of product for a good review. I wanted to be sure it was worth the review, not just me trying to get free stuff. My hair was breaking like crazy. Sometimes in chunks so big it looked more like it was cut off. I switched to this shampoo and conditioner (and an ion hair dryer) and waited. After a couple of weeks there was definite improvement. Yes, I have to wait for the broken stuff to grow out but there has been no more breaking. Also, there is a definite change in the texture/strength/health of my hair. Usually my hair turns to impossible straw-like texture as soon as it gets wet. I have to condition, comb through with conditioner in, and then spray in treatment to be able to comb through it after it's been washed. I forgot to bring my conditioner on a trip (after I'd been using the product for about 3 weeks) and panicked. Oh my gosh, I will never be able to comb through my hair - it will be a disaster of snarls! Nope, it's improved so much that I could comb through it fairly easily despite being unable to condition. Finally, I used to lose a ton of hair both when I combed through in the shower and again when I combed through out of the shower. Now I lose maybe a tenth or less of what I used to lose. It's drastically different. So a definite thumbs up for this product.
