GrovTec GTHM243 Muzzle Thread

Threads were poorly cut. I only went a couple turns and removed it. You could see it was messing up the threads. I tried several other devices and they threaded on the barrel flawlessly so I know the barrel is good. I would not buy this. Could ruin your barrel. I also wanted to mention the dimensions are not accurate. This is not the diameter listed nor is it thick. I did not measure is specifically but it is wider than it is deep. Nothing like what is pictured other than being knurled.

Product is NOT what is pictured. Works somewhat well, but mine still leaves a small gap between the protector and the crown of the threaded barrel. Typical rimfire threads are 0.6" in length, and this thread protector is not quite half an inch in length. Shipping is a little slow, but was delivered slightly before the projected arrival date. Not bad for the price.

Works great and looks good on my rifle

I ordered this for my Remington 597 HB, that I recently had threaded. While it is not exactly as pictured, it's fit and finish is exceptional. I ordered it on August 25th and received it on September 8th, so shipping was a little slow.....but totally worth the wait. I would order from them again without a doubt.
