Purrfect!
Purrfect!!This is a great sturdy and spacious carrier. The feeding trays are a great touch and the ventilation and clear door makes my boy feel comfortable. He was happy to be in and stay in. I've attached photos of my 8 month old maine coon so you can judge the size. There is still growing room. Another plus point is how easily it is secured with a seat belt in the car.If I were to think hard of a negative it would be that the top opening doors can be a little fiddly to close again. But that will probably become easier with practice.

So disappointed
Am disappointed because I got this based on good reviews. If it weren’t for Covid-19 I would return and start again but couldn’t get to the post office.Starting with the positive - Once the carrier was assembled together then it is sturdy enough and good size etc. We liked the bowls at the front. It was not easy to put the top parts on as they didn’t align easily. We bought this because we liked the option to put our pet in from the top but if we undo the top clasp the sides fall off meaning we’d have to struggle to put them back together with a cat inside. This means we daren’t open the top clasps so that option is just null and void.Secondly the door fell off easily as there’s no way to totally secure the side hinges. Again once on and if very careful it looks good and feels sturdy but I don’t fully trust it now.

never been so disappointed
This cat carrier is made out to be one of the best. ....Don't believe it. The plastic is very hard and in parts looks to be easily breakable - in some places very sharp. I would think one clout of the front door plastic and it would shatter. (I note Catit sell replacement doors so .....🤨.) Assembly is an absolute pain. When you think you have it all together bits pop open again. The feeder trays would need to be insitu all the time (taking up space on the inside) because a kitten/small cat could open the little flap and get out. The top 2 pieces of plastic which form the "opening top" are supposed to align - I couldn't do it no matter how I tried (if you can't do it at home what hope at the vets?) It is quite heavy too even without a cat. A cool design badly (cheaply) executed.Back to trawling for a decent carrier! Where are they all?

INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS ALMOST KILLED MY CAT
Bought this carrier for an 8 hour ferry ride and figured I should test it on a shorter drive first. Halfway through the drive my cat started making really weird noises so I pulled over to check on him only to find that the front flap for the food bowl wouldn’t stay shut and my cat had been able to squeeze his head out of the food bowl opening. When I got to him he was so stuck he couldn’t breath and was out cold. I managed to rip the door off and maneuver it so that he could breath again but could not get his head out because of the way the crate door is designed. I was an hour away from home and had to figure out how to keep him propped up in a way that didn’t cut off his air supply while still focusing on driving. When I finally got him home I ended up having to cut him out of the carrier. Thank god I decided to test it first because I would not have been able to check on him during the ferry and he would not have made the trip like this. I am incredibly incredibly disappointed and would NOT recommend this carrier. The quality is very cheap and almost cost my cat’s life.

Can’t Begin To Say How Much I Hate This
Ordered this because the cat burst out of a fabric one so I was looking for something sturdy. I absolutely hate it.Firstly, putting it together. The front wouldn’t “snap” into place on the hinge side, meaning, when used, if bumped, the front can ping open. So I have to hold the front closed when carrying it.Secondly. It’s seriously heavy. Meaning it’s barely portable for me. The vet is a ten min walk away but I ended up having to get an Uber there and back.Thirdly, the strap supplied is ridiculously thin for the weight of the carrier, I replaced it with a padded luggage strap for taking it to and from the car.I hate it.
