I bought these braces for my daughter in late June (volleyball). She wore them for 2 months before the nylon strap completely wore through on the support strap. Since it had been more than 30 days they no longer qualified for an Amazon return so I decided to contact the company directly thinking that it must be a product defect. They asked that I send a picture of the original receipt, a picture of the defect, and a picture of the sundial located on the bottom of the brace to prove authenticity. Guess what? No sundial. So now I am S.O.L with a couple substandard braces that are literally falling apart on us, and they were not cheap! I just ordered new braces directly from Ultra Athlete. They were more expensive, but they have got to have better product backing than what I have experienced here.

This is my fourth pair. I bought one pair for my three friends who also had ankle injuries like I did. They all love them. A life saver for sports after injury.

I bought Active Ankle for my daughter for Volleyball. She had the first one for about 5 weeks and it broke. I order another one and it also broke in about the same amount of time. I would NOT recommend this product.

My daughter's volleyball coach requires the players to wear ankles braces. Most of the girls wear this brace. By less than half way through the season (2 1/2 months) three of the players have had the brace break. The rigid plastic on the bottom part of the brace just cracks in half and then the brace is unusable. Sports equipment isn't expected to last forever, but for the price they should last at least through the season!
