A good fitting jacket to size

Ok, so the sizing is massively out. I'm 5' 11" 40 inch chest 32 waist. I ordered small based on reviews and it still came up on the big size but absolutely fine as I wear it on top of another coat.Out of the package it looked very 2D, almost in a comical way and I did toy with the idea of returning it. However, once it had been worn for a week or so it kept it's contours a bit like a leather jacket does.It completely water and wind proof and kept me warm and dry whilst out in the Welsh countryside.I know it's made to a price point. My only niggle is that it's needs a hoop in the neck to hang it up. If I spent a bit more I would have Liked popper studs on pockets as they did fill with water if the flap was tucked in. For the price I can't complain and I am more.than happy with the jacket. Would I buy it again, definitely.

For the price this really is a good quality wax jacket, in fact I would say exceptional value, Barbour it isn’t but trust me you won’t be disappointed. When it arrives you will have to hang up for a few days just to get the packaging creases out, I would say definitely get a size smaller than you would normally get as the sizes are quite large. Appearance definitely looks more expensive than what it is, the lining is stitched in really well and have had no issues with poppers or zip.

We would all love to own a ''Barbour'' wax jacket, but the cost can be pretty high....This coat is an amazing alternative to the Real thing! It is perfect in both windy and light rainy conditions, and the cost of it was extremely reasonable. I am delighted with it! As per usual the delivery from Amazon was bang on time.....VERY HAPPY CLIENT.

Having read the reviews and comments about the sizing of these coats, I ordered both my usual size medium and small as quite a few people had mentioned they were big. Just received both today and I haven’t bothered to even open the medium as the small is too big! Something to consider before you order. I’m sending both back due to the sizing issue and how thin they are. They wouldn’t keep anyone warm unless you wore several layers underneath.
