1 Mesh Reusable Filter for use in AeroPress Coffee Maker

This is much better than using paper filters. I've experimented with all three and have had no problems using them after reading the instructions. Each provides a different coffee taste just as the manufacturer suggests. They have all worked flawlessly.

Fantastic product and arrived really fast! What a discovery !!! These filters are so much superior to the paper ones.. I have been using the Aero-press for a couple of years now and have tried various filters. The beauty of this version is that you get 3 DIFFERENT stainless steel filters. Ultra-fine mesh, fine and coarse.. And each has a different effect on the outcome of the coffee. I prefer the least fine, although you do get some 'sludge' in the bottom of the cup. The flavor is richer, fuller and darker. The middle one is better for guests if they are not used to this brewing method, and the mesh .. well, I don't really use it, but it does a make a wonderful cup as well. I've been drinking espresso exclusively for as long as I can remember and have a few good pump machines (semi-automatic/Italian made). However, the Aeropress is a little gem of a coffee maker. It makes such a wonderful brew that I am almost ready to discard my big pump machines (I am keeping them just for frothing milk for my wife.) The secret is that you can micro-control the water temperature, which is the most critical factor (82-84 deg C.) and brewing time to help 'shape' the final flavor palette. Now with these 3 different filters I can also modify the brew according to the bean/roast and other factors. Heavenly coffee..!

I wanted a mesh filter and, at nearly the same price as other lone mesh filters on amazon, I purchased this set of three so in case I didn't care for the mesh I could try the perforated types. So far I have only tried the mesh, but I am very happy with it. I love my aeropress with the paper filters but when I used the mesh more oils were able to seep through the filter that the paper would have soaked up. It made an even tastier cup, which I did not think was possible. (slight) CON: It also lets a minuscule amount of mud into the bottom of the cup. It only builds up after the coffee has sat a while, and it's a small amount. It's still nothing like a french press, where you have an actual mud pit at the bottom of the mug. It's ALMOST not even worth mentioning. But more mud than paper filters. RECOMMENDED? Yes. I never have to buy filters again and I'm not just using a sheet of paper one time and then throwing it out day after day. AND I prefer the taste. I also think this particular product is nice because I have 3 options to choose from. I was bound to like one of these filters if I hadn't liked the mesh. Edit: I tried the 'very fine' filter and the two times I used it, I couldnt tell a difference between the mesh and very fine. They both work well.

I've had these several months now and use them almost daily. Can't decide which size I like the most, but overall these work very well with my aeropresses (one at home, one at work). I handwash them only, and mostly let them drip/air dry - so far, no rust. A workmate likes using mine when he's on the graveyard shift with his aeropress and has never given me any complaints about any of the filters. I've taken a star off for the fact that on one of the filters there's a slight notch in the outer rim which feels like it could slice my finger open if I'm not careful when washing. It's not enough for me to return (plus I'm well outside the return window), but makes me question the quality control on this item as well as the durability. Overall, happy with the purchase and the product.

I've used an Aeropress for years, and recently considered buying metal filters to replace my paper ones. So I considered two things in this purchase: 1. Metal vs paper filter 2. These metal filters vs other metal filters For #1, I'm a big fan of the metal filter (so far). Some people complain it's another item to clean, but the cleanup is really minimal. Just rinse it under the faucet with a drop of soap. The coffee is a bit fuller. You get some coffee "sludge" at the bottom of your cup (similar to a french press) but no large grounds have gotten through. For #2, these seem to be very high quality. I couldn't decide between the "perforated" style and "mesh" style filter, and with this 3 pack I didn't have to decide. I've seen complaints for both styles of filter (from other brands) that coffee grounds can get stuck in the perforated holes or under the rim of the mesh filter. But so far I haven't had any issue. The filters are quite thin and feel like they could bend easily if not handled carefully. I will update if that becomes an issue. Would I buy this again? Yes, definitely.

I had a mesh from another company, but it wasn't the filter I needed for the grind of coffee I have. The fine filter in your kit drains through coffee very similar to paper filters I had been using. Thanks for the kit. It gives me options depending on what grind i produce. Great fit, excellent quality, sturdy, should last a long time. I recommend others get this kit too. Thanks. An easy way to clean your filter. After the plunger stops moving down, I pull the plunger back a half inch, which pulls the grounds off of the filter. Then I take the filter and housing off and set aside (which is mostly free of coffee grounds). I push the plunger, aiming at the trash or a mulch bin. Then I rinse the remaining pieces which takes a few moments.

Dieses 3'er Set ist unabdingbar für die AeroPress. Ab sofort spare ich mir den zusätzlichen Kauf von Papier-Filtern. Beim Test war ich total begeistert, die Verwendung vom Mesh-Filter und vom Ultra-Fine, hatte ich beste Ergebnisse erzielt. Im Verschluss der AeroPress passen diese perfekt hinein. Ergebnis, der Kaffee schmeckt wirklich richtig gut. Die Reinigung erfolgt ganz einfach im Waschbecken. Würde es jedem Empfehlen, der ebenfalls auf Papier verzichten möchte.
