Nice product can you get a pair of gloves to go with it? The first time I bought it I don't know who it was from. I got gloves and a pair of wire cutters. They were real nice.

The product is as advertised and arrived quickly. We used this on our chicken coop/run (9’w x 16’l x 7’h). Worked wonderfully, cut easily with nippers, and ample amount left over for other projects. The price all around is much cheaper than other big box stores too. We will be purchasing another roll to have on hand. (5 Stars)

Fencing came very well packaged and included gloves and metal clips. Much better price than I could find anywhere locally and arrived a day ahead of schedule. Seems to be just right for my garden; no little critter through the holes & no large ones over the top.

Perfect for use on my chicken coop to protect my chickens from predators.Seems really durable.

I was pleasantly surprised that the extremely heavy roll arrived a day before it was scheduled to arrive. I could start my project first thing in the morning. When I opened the box, one end of the roll was bent (see Pic) and I had to straighten out each row of bent wire before I could begin work. In the box, it was securely tied with wire and strapping. Also included in the box, to my surprise was a pair of gloves and a package of large staples. It rolled out relatively easy and seemed strong and appeared like it would work perfectly for me. I used heavy duty wire cutters to cut the hardware cloth and it was no problem. But as I unrolled it, there were several spots where the welding failed, and I will have to "patch" the spots. Both spots so far have involved 4 (½ in) squares. I would still purchase it again, if necessary, despite the few hiccups I've encountered. I'm still very pleased with the price and quality.

Off and on for years, I have bought hardware cloth for various garden and farm projects, and most of the time the hardware cloth was great, and from many different sources. Then one time a couple of years ago I bought a roll online but am not sure from whom, and when that roll arrived I was in total shock. As it was unrolled, it became obvious that this roll was "coated" in what seemed like millions of microscopic metal particles, which flaked off, fell off, and rubbed off everywhere--on your hands, on your clothes, in your hair, on the ground, on other surfaces. It was AWFUL. And since the roll came with a CA Prop.65 warning, I knew these metallic particles were likely lead or some equally toxicc or poison material. It was years before I could bring myself to order hardware cloth again, but finally did. Since this roll is nice and smooth, it will do exactly what is needed, so I wish I could give this roll of hardware cloth a 10-star rating! And to top it off, there was a free pair of rather heavy gloves inside the box with the wire, and these will come in handy when working with the cut edges of the wire. I love this wire!

I ordered 2 rolls of this mesh wire last year for use on my chicken "playpen." Its a 9x12 outdoor run attached to the coop. Also used it on the floor framing of the actual coop....nothing can dig or eat their way in! ...and brought it partway up the wall studs to continue the safety. Then I put the sheathing over the studs and floor joists. I have complete confidence my ladies are safe in their coop/playpen. This wire is strong....some are only 22 ga. or thinner. this is 19 ga. Plan to order another roll this spring as I may replace the hoop playpen with a wood frame one. The hoop worked well, but it is difficult to keep it dry underneath without keeping plastic sheathing on it also. Then it's too hot! But it did well in a time crunch and will serve in the garden in the future. But its totally covered with the wire mesh, drilled and screwed into the framing, and extending out from the unit about 16 inches on the ground. Joy to work with, its so sturdy.
