fixed it
Fixed my belt sander that my dad was about to throw away. But now I have a very nice sander for a tiny fraction of the price of a new sander. I couldn't find the right size & voltage, and this was a tiny bit big for it. Still works, but doesn't physically fit, in the mount anymore. Not the capacitor's fault. Review entered after a full year of use, no issues.

Needed
Just what was needed to make drill work again.

perfect!
Although, a little too large to fit in the same place as the one it replaced, it works perfectly. My Drill press is up and running again for pennies.

It fixed the problem
Was similar in physical size to the stock Cap mused on a shop fan. Took awhile to get it.

DOA twice
Do not order these. I’ve had two shipped to me and both did not operate when they arrived. Tested with ohm meter and both showed open circuit. Plus it took over 2.5 weeks for each one to arrive. This brand is no good. I cut one open just to make sure they wasn’t selling me a empty case.

Size matters
the mechanical specs for this unit were spot on , however, the physical specs that were listed on their web site were not . the size of the actual unit was listed on the site. the size of the unit was quite different. this capacitor needed to fit in a pre determined size case on the side of my motor. this capacitor did the job of starting the motor , but ,now it is rigged up through Afro technology to my motor without the protection of the metal casing....say what you want to....size matters.

Works as intended
Purchased this to fix an old bench grinder that hasnt worked properly in years. It finally huffed a bunch of smoke and I found a melted capacitor. Replaced it with this unit and the grinder now runs like new. Saved me from spending $150 on a new grinder.
