I recently purchased the candle making kit and I have to say, I am extremely impressed with the quality of the products included.The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to make several beautiful candles in a variety of scents. The wax and wicks provided were high quality and resulted in a clean burn with no soot. The fragrance oils included were also very potent and added a lovely aroma to the finished candles.I appreciated that the kit came with all the necessary tools and equipment, making it a great starter kit for anyone interested in candle making.Overall, I highly recommend this kit to anyone looking to get into candle making or as a thoughtful gift for a crafty friend.

Summary: Would definitely recommend this kit. Everything you need to get started, even if you’re an absolute beginner like me.Long version: This is possibly the best kit I could have gotten! I’ve never made candles before but this has everything you need to get started right away. It even comes in a nice box if you were planning to give it as a gift. I researched several other kits on Amazon but this one was the best value (unlike other kits, this one had everything in one box, the items looked like better quality, and you could make more candles)All listed items were in the box (some were tucked away inside the canvas bag so don’t panic if you don’t see everything right away). The thermometer has a battery in it already. It takes around 20-30 seconds to reach temperature but it seems sensitive enough to properly monitor the candle wax as it melts. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow: simply wait until it reaches the right temperature, add the colour, let the wax cool a bit and then add the fragrance, then pour into the tin and leave to set. I added the full bottle of fragrance and you can certainly smell it! You could possibly get away with using less but as it was my first go, I just did exactly as instructed. There was even some leftover wax after I’d filled the tin so I grabbed an old chocolate mould and made some wax melts with it. The candle and melts all set fine, with no cracks or sinking in the surface, so the wax seems to be good quality and has held the colour and fragrance very well.Very pleased with my purchase!!

First time making candles.Everything you need is in the box.The finished candles are a decent size, and smell great.It would be nice to have scents that aren't so generic, or perhaps a choice of scents to choose from.Overall a good kit.

(Just wait for them to cool and set, after pouring the wax).Clear, simple instructions included. I will have half the scent and colour left for my next lot even after completing the four in the attractive tins provided. And I now have the basic knowledge, confidence and equipment to go further. All I will need is wax, wicks and containers. There is a wide range of scents and oils available and many sources for supplies.Perfect gift to inspire confidence and satisfy that creative impulse for adults and children under supervision.Other sellers, take note, this is how it should be done!

Got this as a gift at Christmas its an excellent starter kit for anyone interested in starting candle making as a hobby.The kit contains everything you need to make 4 scented candles and comes with instructions highy recommended for both children and adults.

I had a lot of fun with this kit and made some nice candles. It's easy to use, maybe a little messy but nothing too bad. The scents are so good and powerful. If you wanna try making your own candles I would definitely recommend this kit
