As a heavier person with large calves, finding compression socks can really be difficult. I measured my calf for these and bought a 3XL. I measured within the high end of 2XL size but also could fit the 3XL. I didn’t want to risk something being too tight. The feet/ankle portion were a bit big for me even with a size 10.5 woman’s foot and that seemed to affect the amount of compression my foot and ankle were getting. The compression through my calf was fantastic and I felt much lighter on my feet. Now the major flaw I found to these is the upper band of the sock. It’s fine if I wear the socks for about a half hour but after that I get red rings around my legs/behind my knees. It’s just simply too tight and needs to go down about an inch on my leg to not be squeezing right behind my knee. They are easy to put on and off though which is definitely a plus. Compression socks can be a nightmare. If the top band was made to be less restricting and the foot/ankle area compression was better I would easily give these 5 stars.

I had to return these since they are not made for big feet. I like compression going around the foot and up the legs - but not compressing my toes to my heel. The heel only came to mid-foot. (My feet are womans 13 / mens 11.5 / European 45) If I had smaller feet, I think I would have loved these. I felt like they were good quality

Compression socks are never total comfortable to wear. These are comfortable for most of the day about 12 hours. I work at a desk all day I walk as much as I can. These have reduce my swelling significantly. For me it is the top that is wear I end up feeling the discomfort at the end of the day. The toes are snug but not compressed. I have tried several brands and I find these to be the most comfortable so far. I have seen reviews where people complain that they fall apart. I hand wash mine mainly because I do not have a garment bag and hang dry then in my tub area. I have no problem with the quality of these. Maybe the person that had the problem did not use a garment bag or they got a bad pair. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend that you try a pair of them if you are in need of compression socks and see if they work for you.

The biggest draw back is that the band of the sock that wraps around your calves can be a bit tight. I actually sized up for the recommended sizing chart and it was just right. If you don’t pull the sock up properly from the sole/heel of your foot the top band will not stay up properly and roll down, which was very painful. But once I figured that out they were very comfortable and STAY in place. I wore these for over 6 hours straight for our garage sale and they never once slipped. And my feet felt so good afterwards. I have a lot of swelling in my feet and ankles and the tightness of the compression is a great fit for me. It’s tight without being painful. Just watch how you put these on because like I said, if you don’t put them on right the band will roll down and hurt your leg. And size up. Overall i give this a solid 4/5 stars. For the quality you get they are much more affordable than I would have thought. And they are sturdy. They don’t feel flimsy or like they’ll fall apart.

Nice socks, but bands near knee are uncomfortable, work on this and I will purchase more.
