Divine is the word I think of for this shampoo. Visually it is beautiful, positively golden in color. It smells amazing - pure, refreshing, potent, the perfect balance of smells. It is wonderful to use, the perfect amount of suds, a little goes a long way, it feels amazing and very cleansing. After using, my hair felt and looked great, even enhanced my natural hair color I believe. It air dried very nicely without any conditioner. I am so happy with the very wonderful ingredients in this shampoo (I stopped using commercial shampoos several years ago). Also, the only saponifiers are yucca and coco protein, completely natural and nourishing. This was my first time using this shampoo, and I am completely hooked. Even though it is expensive, it is completely worth it. It lasted me three months (I wash my hair twice a week), and my husband even used it a handful of times (he loves it too)! Plus a tip, if you buy in bulk the larger sizes, it is less expensive. Truly, Living Libations is the perfect name for this company. I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to use pure organic products for healthy natural hair.

UPDATE: I am still using the bottle that I purchased in April 2019, and I still use daily, and it is now coming into mid November 2019. As far as I am concerned, if the bottle lasts this long the price is not bad at all! I am ready to jump in and try the conditioner also, which I did not purchase the first go round. I still love the shampoo. A happy customer!! The scent is clean. I did not expect much lather, and there is very little. It does make my curly hair curlier, which was not necessarily my goal :) My hair feels clean after using. I checked the pH, and it is 3, which is slightly more acidic than ideal. The goal would be between 5-7. I had written a note to the company asking what the pH was but did not receive a reply, so I decided to do what I needed to find out myself. Yes, it is spendy for a shampoo, but I have relatively short hair and use about the size of a dime at each shampoo, which I do daily to control which direction my curly hair shoots off in, so hopefully it will last a little while for me. I do not think my hair feels more dried out than before I started using the shampoo, but I will ask my hairdresser when I go in next.

The Absolute Best Shampoo Ever. I am a model and i have to have my hair super nice , i get booked because of my hair. These products leave your hair super refreshed and smelling great, naturally, not unnaturally. Also you don't have to use a lot, just a teaspoon and I have a lot of hair. And im not just saying this is a " natural" product, no this is only pure botanicals and essential oils. The women who makes these shampoos and other products is a charming and an incredible person ( i have met her in real life) :) So basically her skin, hair and body care products are like the only ones I will buy unless i make it homemade. Her products are worth it. They last a long time and are the best quality you can get.

Simply wonderful. This is more than just a shampoo. Like another reviewer stated, it feels like medicine for your scalp/hair. It has a pleasant, herbal scent and it leaves my hair soft and shiny. Also, I tend to be on the oily side and noticed that with this shampoo I am able to go longer between washes. This is a first, as I’ve always had to wash my hair every second day. Another thing I noticed (unique to this shampoo), is that once my hair was dry and I felt my scalp, I could feel every one of those tiny regrowth hairs standing up at attention, like little soldiers lol. Meaning this shampoo is super volumizing! And it really leaves you with that clean feeling that lasts for days, which I’m loving. Add to that the natural ingredients and it’s a 5 star shampoo. However, I do have to deduct a star due to the price for how small the bottle is; value for money is simply not there. This shampoo would be best kept as a special occasion shampoo, a once in a while spa-like treat, or maybe it works for those who don’t need to wash their hair as often. I’ll continue to buy it though, and only use it occasionally, just because I love the way my scalp feels and hair looks with this shampoo!

Is tiny amount for one it doesn’t lather up that well so I had to keep putting more in my hand to cover my head with it to feel like I’m washing, it felt nice afterwards though and I have dermatitis issues so the itching was a lot less , which is a plus , but gosh you have to pay so much to get a decent amount of it which isn’t feasible for a lot of us

Wow. It's amazing and better than anticipated. Don't let the consistency fool you. Not kidding one wash and my hair feels clean and healthy like when you leave the salon. I don't know why I am surprised because LL has the best products!

I try to use only 100% organic, natural products on my skin and hair, and I was very happy to find this shampoo. It's not an everyday shampoo for me, since it can be drying. It's a great clarifying shampoo, however, which I use once per week. It cleanses really well, making my hair feel light and full, and the Shine On conditioner (which lasts much longer than the same-size bottle of shampoo) helps to mitigate the drying effects. Today I returned to amazon for another bottle, then thought I'd first check out the Living Libations website to find that it is MUCH less expensive ordered directly from the company (today, $36.00 (LL) vs. $46.00 (amazon), plus free shipping from LL). And Living Libations carries a host of fabulous face, body, sun, oral care, and other products there. I'm excited to try more of them! One more point, about the shampoo's scent: yes, it does have a fairly strong herbal scent. But I like it, and I've actually received a couple of compliments on it when people lean for a hug.

It has a gorgeous herbal aroma, super therapeutic. I was worried that it wouldn’t lather well after checking out reviews, but a little truly went a long way. It is incredibly cleansing, trust me when I say your hair and scalp with be fresh. Use a conditioner after because since it is so powerful, you will need some extra love for your hair after. I plan on using it twice a week like I’ve been doing for a few years when it comes to hair care. It is the best natural shampoo I’ve ever tried and the priciest I’ve ever paid for one, but I will be getting it again.
