Made beautiful lavender bath salt
I didn't read the reviews before buying this product, and I'm glad I didn't. It worked PERFECTLY, for me. I made lavender bath salts, and they turned out to be a beautiful lavender color! To be fair, it was a very pale color, mixed with the salt, until I added the avacado oil. I would buy it again, for this use.

It doesn't make soap purple
I bought this for a recipe in a soap-making book that I have used successfully for many other batches of soap. I followed the recipe exactly and this clay did not turn the soap even a little bit purple. Hopefully it will work as a face mask, since it didn't work as a colorant.

Pastel Purple
I would have loved for it to be a bit more darker but it was doable and I added some purple mica. texture smooth and softer than the pink.

Not purple
I use Purple Brazilian clay for my CP Soaps and Bath Bombs.I was excited to try this as it was a better price point than my usual supplier.Straight out of the package, it looked like a very light, pale, purple color, much lighter than I am used to. I thought I would try it anyway and maybe would darken once mixed with my wet ingredients. But once mixed in with my ingredients, it was not purple. Looked more off white. I used it in the same ratios as the other Purple Brazilian clay I have used in the past, from another supplier.I do understand that natural ingredients may vary slightly due to the nature of it being natural. However, this was not even close to purple-- I am thinking I would have to use it in very high amounts to get a darker color-- MAYBE? Like I said, it was super light to start with...I will not purchase this again.

Disappointing color results
Very disappointed that this so-called purple clay did not work. I would avoid purchasing this if looking for a traditional purple color when making soap. This clay as you can tell from the photo did not produce a purple soap. I will be purchasing from a different source.
