I read the reviews of this tool before I purchased it. Apparently many have had difficulty removing the cylindrical cutting blade from the arbor when switching back and forth between the 2 different sizes of hole saws. I was replacing all the doors in my house with oak raised panel solid doors so I purchased a separate arbor for the second hole saw. I first drilled the hole for the bolt halfway and then detached it from the drill leaving it in the door. This allowed me to then drill the hole for the latch mechanism using the smaller hole saw as an anchor to hold the tool in place. After the larger whole was drilled I then finished drilling the smaller hole. It worked perfectly for all my doors. The bits will eventually wear out but I did not notice any wear on the tool itself after 18 doors.

Have found this ideal for working on existing and new doors. This is only for use when your door lock mechanism requires a large hole. This has made the job so much easier
