Works exactly as advertised. Brighter than I expected. Just installed today, but very happy with it. I’m very glad I bought these. Porch light works automatically.

I installed the auto-turn on/off light bulbs in my front lawn lamp posts and front porch one year ago. I am happy that the bulbs are all working fine after one year. This saved me the trouble of manual turn on and off each night. There was couple of occasions the bulb didn't light up, I just flip my light switch and that solved the issue. Overall, I am happy with the quality of these bulbs.

The dawn to dusk feature of these bulbs works extremely well, even in an enclosed outdoor fixture. To my naked eye the light looks nice and yellow like incandescent bug lights but there must be something a little different. They work better than a regular bulb but seem to attract more bugs than the older style bug lights.

I am very pleased with these bulbs. They are consistent with turning on at dusk and off at dawn. They work better than using a standard LED bulb with a screw on dusk/dawn sensor which is what we were using before I saw these. They are much brighter than I was expecting and light up the entire porch and well into the driveway. Very pleased with them.

They are working still today. No bugs yet

The light has its own sensor built in the base. You can see this sensor by looking at the bulb. Some complaints I have seen here is that the sensor doesn’t line up right for it to work as said properly. I had no problems and in fact unscrewed and then rethread and screed it back in a bit differently it line up sensor to the side of the bulb but it still works from dusk to dawn saving me energy usage and keeping the light on as desire WITHOUT THE BUGS!!!!

Nice, soft light. Beats the brilliant white dusk to dawn light bulb I was using. Cut the bugs at my door by 90%. Not sure about longevity. Good, inexpensive purchase.

They only turn on at night which is great as we are using less power They put out a nice light... Perfect brightness

First off, let me correct some misinformation in some of the other reviews. When you install these lightbulbs during the daytime, they do indeed turn on for a second and then immediately turn off, BUT you cannot fool them into turning back on by simply covering the sensor with your finger. I read in other reviews that people returned these because that happened and they immediately assumed the product was defective—Not so!. If you leave the fixture on until true darkness, the bulbs do indeed turn on and perform as dusk until dawn. The light is nice and bright. I installed the bulb in an outdoor fixture that has clear, but textured glass panels on four sides. I’m very pleased with them so far, but will update should they not perform as expected.

These are so nice for leaving my porch light on, but only using electricity when it's dark out. The colour helped to reduce the attraction of bugs as well.
