Much a nice story of the swisss alps and life of the people there.its a story of swiss alps and the orphaned child to her grandfather. The very humble sweet kind traits of heidi is a simple pleasure to read.also I liked the end of the miracle of clara.happy ending.

Prints are so small to read for kids.There is no provision of returning the item.only replacment.

Heidi is one of the most beautiful character I've read❤️This little girl so cheerful and enthusiastic of nature. The girl with so much kindness that with her presence she spreads kindness around her.. Heidi lost both of her parents when she was little and her aunt Deiti takes care of her. But soon aunt Deiti needs to move for work so she decided to send Heidi to live with her grandfather in Swiss Alps. Heidi who excitedly adapts all the changes and gets very happy to live around nature. Heidi fills the place with happiness & completely falls in love with the nature around her. But soon her aunt takes her away from her grandfather to become companion to a rich girl in Frankfurt. Heidi who loves nature & her grandfather doesn't settle in this new environment and gets homesick. So she returns to her grandfather to live with him again. The book revolves around the character Heidi and the people she is attached with. The message of kindness is in this pages. Heidi being a little child has heart of innocence. And how kindness can go long way this little girl teaches us. I read Heidi and Pollyanna one by one and both the story explains the point of goodness, kindness, positivity & gratitude. How these qualities needs be spread around the world is what you'll understand in these both the books.

I loved reading Heidi as a child, and this unabridged version brings back so many memories. The writing is beautiful, and the story is timeless.

What best can you offer a growing mind of 10 years with so much of dreams..... worth every penny. Font and book size perfect. It is not an abridged version. So full marks on that. Paper quality could have been better. You can see the print in the other size of the page which can be annoying. Amazon says MRP 199 and the print says 150; so either the discount is less.. or I received an older version reprinted in 2018.

My copy had alot of priting errors and the cover page had something stickey on it. But I didn't get bothered about it much because it came off when I rubed on it. Usually I get so upset as I like my books to look clean and have no errors as in,ink smudge, bend, or a page stuck to another . But as I said I wasn't bothered by it as I was really into reading the book, because it is one of mine and my mom's favorite childhood cartoon. which wasn't able to see till the end.so I wanted to know what happens to our little entatainer !. Ps: I would love to get another copy of the book in exchange to the one I have but I don't think amzone allows an exchange now since it's been some days since I got the copy 😔😞. ...
