Great backpack for day or a light overnight trip
Great backpack: build quality, durability, style, zipper quality, weight, and functionality all fantastic. I wanted a quality lightweight backpack, that would last a long time. This pack is light weight, and very durable. Zippers are high quality, and the pockets are many and proportioned apspropriately. I researched a lot of styles and packs, and wanted a good size for daypacking and enough room to carry whatever I wanted. This pack has been great, has many different settings to adjust to your back size, and feels like its not even there. It keeps the weight off your shoulders and the mid strap helps weight distribution really well. It is somewhat rain and water repellent, as it rained during my last hiking trip and nothing got wet inside. Great pack, I will be purchasing additional hiking packs from Osprey as they last, great quality, and worth the price.

Comfortable, versatile and packs a big load.
Used and abused it on an 8 day 40 mile trek in the Yosemite wilderness. Initially loaded up with food it was at 45 pounds then down to about 35 on the way back without food. Climbed from 4500 to 9000 ft elevation with it. It is very comfortable and easily packed all my stuff inside except my thermorest I attached to the outside using the 2 provided straps on the bottom of the bag outside the sleeping bag compartment. The only negative is the pockets on the side that supposedly holds the water bottle. It didn't hold water bottles well and I actually lost the water bottle one day but found it on the return a few days later thanks to someone who found it and left it in plain view. Next time I'll try the water bag compartment. But that seems like a pain to remove from a full pack to refill the bladder with water. Overall an excellent high quality backpack with nice features and plenty of straps and clips. I also used the daypack conversion. Worked great.

Very happy with the pack.
We do a fairly decent backpacking trip at least once a year. In summary, this pack is a couple of lbs lighter than my previous backpack and is the same volume. Strong and comfortable. There are lighter packs out there but I am giving it 5 stars as the price/performance quotient is quite good. We are not ultralighters pumping out huge daily mileage. Good bang for the buck.

Pack it up
Awesome pack! Lots of storage in a well built light weight construction.

Lots of capacity!
I’ve used this now one two separate multi-day backpacking trips. The capacity is great. The detachable lid/daypack is a bit gimicky. It doesn’t seem to work great as either, frankly, and “detachable” suggests that it’s super easy. It’s not. Working the buckles under the required loops takes patience and finger strength, and there’s no way to adjust the strap length without detaching the buckles entirely and starting the whole process all over. If you actually try to use the top pouches, it sits pretty high and limits your neck extension. As a daypack it was fine, but not super sturdy. It does have a nice separate bladder pouch in the daypack. I love the “suite case” style opening. Makes getting gear so much faster. I kind of with there were more external pockets. The waist pockets are about what I would expect, but surprisingly difficult to open and close without using two hands, which I feel kind of defeats the purpose. As far as comfort goes, it’s not the most comfortable, but I also don’t have a lot to compare to. It’s a bit punchy around the waist. The gear loops are super nice, and you can haul a ton of gear! I’d actually be careful with that…it’s easy to end up with a 60+ lb bag, especially if hiking in cooler weather or bringing specialty gear. The bag itself is a bit in the heavy side, but it’s also massive, so that’s to be expected.

Great backpack.
So far its holding up well, comfortable to wear, and the 100l is large enough for bulkier items for those that dont NEED the overpriced ultra-light camping gear.

Single best item, I’ve ever bought !
It’s difficult to quantify how much this single item has changed my life! I got a crazy deal on it and if it was gone I would pay full price in a second for another! This bag can be medium size, large or huge. I’m a larger person and it fits me like a glove. It has storage pockets for anything you would want to store and it feels like a real life bag of holding, in the main compartment items smaller than a child will be offered to the abyss,it takes a moment to retrieve items. It can handle an insane amount of weight and not feel “heavy “- its a strange phenomenon. All I can say is if you’re thinking about a bag like this ….. stop wasting time, this is absolutely amazing!! Don’t forget about Osprey’s warranty! - it is “the way”
