I am really impressed with this great value cover. It fits my car really well (MK1 Golf - if anyone with a MK1 is thinking about this it fits well) and has some really surprising features including the integrated hold down straps which and sturdy and long enough to tie to alloys. The zip is really handy for access meaning you don't have to remove the cover to get access to the car. The reflective strips and bold and bright if you are parking on the street and the elasticated elements at the back and front are tight and strong.Through the cold snap it has performed really well, held tight in the winds (I live on a hill on the top of a windy valley) and the car is dry and clean. There was some criticism in reviews I saw before purchase about quality of some elements but I don't wholly agree. I maybe expected the inner lining to be softer in my mind but is probably more about my expectations than the reality of such a great value cover and it is a lining which appears kind on paintwork.For product development I would probably recommend that version 2.0 would include a velcro flap over the zip but as it stands the zip is performing well and I don't have evidence of any water leaking in via the one here.Overall I think this is a great solution and such good value. Im very impressed and will buy again.

Listed as having five layers seems dubious unless one counts the reflective strips. It seems to have the waterproof layer and the cotton backing. The image shows one of several areas of holes in the fabric, this one probably caused by accidental stitching where it was not required. I did not consider it worth going for refund or replacement as we were so glad to deploy it and save time and effort as well as the cost of de-icer and its effect on the environment. We knotted the four straps into loops and secured them around the wheel spokes with bungee cords, making for quick fitting and removal. The cover is good in having the door mirror sleeves and with these having reflective strips as well as the front and rear of the cover.After snow and ice had covered the cover, it was easy to brush off and then to remove the cover, and stow it indoors before driving away. The alternative of de-icer, brushing and scraping would have taken much longer. Since our garage is full of other stuff, this cover is a very useful alternative. After drying it, it is just about possible to roll it up and pack it in its valise, but it is a tight fit. We have not used the long straps. It is not cheap but well worth the money contrasted against the cheaper, flimsy vinyl covers that are not tailored to fit so well and are nothing like as durable.

Ok.. so you’ve got a car that you would like to protect from the wind and rain like a project car or much loved restored classic. This car cover will protect your much loved car in all weathers but do not expect it to last more than 18 months. I bought this cover November 2022 and now replacing (with same cover) as leaking at the seams, fabric cracked and car is wet all the time for last 1-2 months. Based on my calculations (living in Ireland) this cover does a good job for 1 year to 18 months max. One important factor is sizing the cover. If you get a cover that’s too big it will drag on the ground and soak up all the moisture causing damage to both car and cover. I don’t mind replacing as it’s cheap enough. Environmentally not so good but I ain’t paying over €200 for a bespoke cover. The zip opening is good, the underside is soft and non scratch and the wheel tie downs are also good. I would recommend this product but durability is main issue. Repeat customer.

Got this for my new car to protect it from bird poop and tree sap, fits well, little fiddly at first to get on (had to work out which way round it went). Once on tied to the wheels and there are cables can add underneath.Looks smart and the reflective strips add more peace of mind knowing it’s more visible so less likely to be hit.The zip on the side is great means I can access inside the car without having to take the whole thing off, handy when you forget something in the car.Hasn’t been tested in bad weather yet but so far so goodOk so a little update, the car cover is fine. But the storage bag is absolutely useless, once the car cover is unfolded there is no way you are going to get it in the bag. I tried stuffing it like a sleeping bag but the side of the storage bag just ripped and I hadn’t even got a quarter of the cover in.Further update, had it 2 years now, still works quite well, now finding some tree sap does leak through, but I've got some stuff to get that off and its not as bad as if i didn't have it. The ties are starting to fray but it's weatherd tonnes of storms and bad weather.When taking it off the car I put the sides onto the roof then roll it up at the bonnet, then when I want to put it back on, i put it on the roof at the back of the car then just push it, it then rolls down the length of car and just pull the sides down. Makes easy putting on and not much faffing.

very good quality. despite not fitting my van 100% (it's not made for my van) it was very close fit. tied down to wheels. I was fully expecting it to disappear in the gale Forse winds we had recently and just be left with the wheel ties but it withstood the weather beyond expectation.the drivers door zipper is really very very handy

Fits my audi a5 convertable perfectly. Protection for my roof in bad weather.
