Lenox Butterfly Meadow 8-Piece Tea Set, Service for 2, White

The Lenox Butterfly Meadow 7-Piece Tea Set arrived about two weeks ago packaged in one boxa. I very delicately released each piece from its extensive cardboard casing - admired the quality and workmanship - and carefully put every piece back exactly as it was (pretty much) because I'm saving it for a special occasion - or not.Such a Beautiful delicate, feminine set with such lovely attention to detail. The set includes one lovely teapot complete with a butterfly that has lighted for eternity gently on the spout, matching creamer and sugar bowl (with lid) and two delicate butterfly-themed cups and saucers all with the look of fine hand-painting. Such a fine thing. I can just see the look on my friends' faces as I serve delicous aromatic tea (bags) in a themed teapot with matching cups & sacuers from a linen-lined rattan tray - or enjoy my own private tea party on the patio at dusk. For such a nominal price it is possible to see and feel how the aristocracy must feel at tea time.If there are questions whether going to such expense is worth it simply for the luxurious feeling (and appearance) of elegance at tea time - the answer is a resounding "Yes"! Besides it's affordable and most importantly it's Lenox quality - what could be finer than that?

I LOVE this tea set so much!! I’ve been eying it for a while and finally got it. It makes me so happy to use and is absolutely beautiful. My family loves it too! I’ve just bough some individual matching cups and saucers in the butterfly meadow line too. It keeps the tea hot and pours awesome, no to minimal trickling! Also, the tea pot is SO well made it isn’t heavy and is very ergonomic to the wrist. I use it with loose tea and it cleans super well. Also little tea strainers for straining the loose tea during pour work awesome too! The only thing is that every now and then there’s a tiny black particle from manufacturing. I don’t mind these bc it seems real and high quality crafted like someone made this not a cheap throw away. Beautiful set! Highly, highly recommend

I was delighted to receive this beautiful tea service earlier this week. I decided to be frugal, although Amazon already had a great price for the tea service, and purchase from the Amazon Warehouse. Well to my surprise my tea service was packaged in original packaging and was brand spanking new. I saved $25 off of the original price listed. How awesome is that!I am not particularly fond of the teacups and saucers that came with the set so I purchased four butterfly meadow figural cup and saucer sets in yellow to match. While the figural cup sets are a tad larger than a tea cup I think that these are a better match for the tea pot.The decoration on the teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl are beautiful as all pieces of the butterfly meadow collection are. The set is on display in my cupboard, I felt it needed a shelf of it's own. Oh and not sure why some attempted to wash their teapot in the dishwasher as my set came with explicit care instructions for the teapot that state it is not dishwasher, microwave, oven or freezer safe. The instructions also say to prewarm the teapot with hot tap water before filling with hot beverages to ensure that the tea pot will not break from a sudden temperature change and to prolong its usability.I am looking forward to gatherings with family and friends where I can display this beautiful tea service.

I used this tea set for the first time yesterday and I am delighted with it. The teapot holds 32 ounces of liquid, and keep the tea warm. The cups are so cute, and hold a good amount of tea. I searched a long time to find this and paid a high price. It was worth the time and money. I love that it matches my Lenox dishes too.

Very beautiful, dainty I love having tea with this set. You will need a strainer if you're using looseleaf teas, the spout gets clogged up with loose leaves. Be very careful with the butterfly on top of the teapot first set I had came with the butterfly broken, from Macy's they wrapped it very well and yet the butterfly was still broken, returned it and bought second set from Amazon 2 day prime; first set took forever to come from Macy's. I contact at Lenox to see if I could just get the top of the teapot replaced (before I saw that Amazon was selling the same tea set). I was told that they would sell me the whole pot at half price, when I asked how much that would be I was told $80; That's more than the whole set.

I ordered this set because I didn’t have enough of a different set for a tea party I was having. It is absolutely beautiful and everyone loved it. It seems very high quality and everything is a good size. The teapot is larger than the other one I have and might be a bit big for only one or two people but nice for a group. The only thing I will caution is the spout of the teapot is very narrow and I was serving loose leaf tea which became a problem. My other pot has a larger spout so had no issues, but the tea leaves were rather large and they got stuck in this Lenox teapot so made the tea dribble all over when pouring. Not a dealbreaker because I like the set so much, but I would recommend either using a tea ball or bags in this pot. I will have to keep that in mind for the future and use my other set for any large tea leaves and this set for small tea leaves only.

I love this tea set. I have the tablecloth, the napkins, the lovely napkin rings, and just got the tea set, and I love walking by my table every day, which is constantly set, just for the fun of it. It's such a nice, cheery pattern, and there are so many cute items to collect with this pattern. I have already warned my son that there will be a procession of cutesy things arriving over the coming months . . . . If you like girly things, this pattern will not disappoint, and will give you a lot of fun as you collect the various pieces. I would think that the items in this pattern would also delight young children of either gender, as kids tend to like animals, and many of the pieces feature animals, not just butterflies.
