I had been using a different supplement for my 9 yo dog but the pills arrived crushed and broken and too many were unusable so I looked for something else and found this. They are large pills but they seem to taste good since my dog eats them right down when placed in her food bowl. Her joints seem to feel fine so they work like they are supposed to. I really like this, it's very cost effective and has high levels of glucosamine, MSM, and chondrotin. I have a lot of large breed dogs so being able to get this dosage at this price is great. I just wish it was available more consistently.

My dog has 2 torn CCLs (the equivalent of an ACL in humans). He has already had 2 unsuccessful surgeries & a 3rd procedure to clean up an infection & remove some debris from the joint. The surgeries he would need will cost me around $10,000 & Im still paying off the other ones. Needless to say, they will have to wait. In the meantime, I continue to give him fish oil & these glucosamine tablets 2xs per day. Hes a picky eater and he loves these. He actually thinks that they are a treat! This stuff is great. My dog chews up the pellets, so they don't taste bad to him.When I ran out of it and hadn't received the new order yet, my German Shepherd started getting a little stiff in the hips especially in the morning. OUCH! I felt bad. He's about 8 years old, and though he looks great on the inside, he's getting a little stiff in the joints. I would suggest watching your dog to be sure he doesn't have an allergic reaction to it... all dogs are pretty different.. but my Shepherd MAX, its almost a miracle drug. Smile

My dog is a half breed. Half collie and have chowchow. He has the wide body and short legs of the chow, and yes the short teddy bear ears and black tongue. The rest of him is all collie.
