Nature's Variety Complete Freezed Dried Food Turkey for Dogs Mini and Small - Case 7 x 120 g

Our Chihuahua cross Shihtzu is the fussiest eater ever. We have tried numerous foods, dry, wet, frozen, fresh with no lasting result. That is, until we tried this! He loves it, and it’s great that it does not get wasted. After a month his coat is much shinier too. It might be a bit pricey, but so is throwing away spoiled food which gets left. Highly recommend.

I have a 10 year old Pomeranian who has ALWAYS been a very fussy eater, and I have donated more bags of kibble and pouches/tins of wet food to our local animal rescue charity over the years than I care to think about. I was recommended this brand and freeze dried type of food by a store assistant in a pet store about 5 years ago, and haven't looked back since! Aside from cooked chicken, or white fish and rice, it's the ONLY thing she will eat! Give it a try, even if it's just one sachet at first? NB - Pet stores stock have changed the colour of packaging to green, but I buy from Amazon now as MUCH cheaper.

I wanted something I could take with us when we are out all day. I had hoped the packs would be smaller but at least they are light weight. The dog seems to like them but only if he has not had them 2 days in a row. As for value for money I think they are a bit on the expensive side to be feed as a regular meal. I find the box a bit misleading as it says it is a weekly pack and you get one free but if that was the case you would get 8 packs on the box not 6 and 1 extra or are dogs only meant to eat 6 days out of 7?

If you know chihuahuas, you know they’re tiny judges in fur coats. I’ve tried dozens of foods, and this is the first one they didn’t immediately glare at and walk away from like I’d offended them personally. Each portion is the perfect size for their tiny mouths, and I love that it’s freeze-dried, no weird smells, no mess. I can rehydrate it a bit or serve it crunchy, depending on what side of the bed they woke up on. Their coats are shiny, tummies happy, and they’ve even stopped begging for my dinner. 10/10, would not dare run out of it.

So happy to find this on Amazon Ireland. I ordered this from the UK website before, but it stopped shipping to Ireland. My picky toy poodle loves this freeze-dried; he eats it for dinner. He prefers the turkey flavour to the chicken.
