I moved to the Pacific Northwest a few years ago and less than half the homes and apartments up here have air conditioning. After suffering through a record-setting heat wave without AC, I picked up this unit for my bedroom and it's been life-changing on hot nights, allowing my to get the bedroom down to a comfortable sleeping temp. It is a little energy inefficient and runs a lot, but if you need to cool a bedroom to get a good night's sleep in the summer, it's a perfect choice and comes with everything you need to get it up and running. One note with this unit, you need to have a window in the room to attach the vent hose (which pumps the hot motor air outside). Definitely happy with this purchase.

The unit is good, same output as small window unit.Exhaust hose is Major Fail! Hose is super stiff and connections to ends won't stay together. I am using white duct tape to keep them togetherAir intake is too close to exhaust hose which gets really HOT...bad design.

I have a 10x10 bedroom and TRUST me when I say this thing cools my room (cause that’s all that matter when I’m in there 24/7) down while the rest of my apartment is a heat wave. My roommates get jealous lol

Units shuts off when target temp is reached. No constant fan running. Filters easy to access and clean.

Too loud - not what I expected meant to return

Air conditioner works okay, expected better for 7000btus. The exhaust hose is a nightmare to attach and keep attached. The design could have been better in the back to get a better angle for the exhaust to the window.
