REDSHIFT Really Long Bar Tape

I like "cushy" bar tape, and have a couple brands I normally purchase. However, I upgraded my gravel bike to Redshift's Top Shelf handlebars, and the typical bar tape doesn't stretch far enough. This is great tape; if you are expecting cork, you'll be disappointed - it has a more rubbery feel - but if you want long, cushy tape that applies well... this is the right stuff. It isn't cheap, but the it seems like it will last for years, making it a good value. The look is sharp and professional when applied properly.

Nice. I'm not the best at wrapping so having the extra length is great. Even unwrapped it a couple of times to get it right. To avoid hand numbness, I use silicon gel pads and a wide diameter bars, and, again, extra length is great. Tape can be pulled and has a great texture. Matt finish. Bought it to replace Lizard tape and time will tell if it was a good decision. Good end plugs too!

I hoped to update my earlier review with praise, but alas, I cannot. After only a couple of weeks, the tape began to stretch and thin around the brake hoods (I stop a lot during my daily commutes). I ended up having to use Gorilla tape to hold this tape together. I finally took the Redshift tape off and bought two sets of standard tape to be long enough to cover the pads. Not sure if the extra padding is worth it, and might start over without the pads. The only thing that makes this tape the second worst and not the worst, is the finishing tape that holds the end in place near the stem. It's actually quite good, and I was able to reuse it on the second set of tape I just installed. Original review, right after installing... Another brand of tape I bought on amazon was peeling after two weeks, so I decided to team up this tape with the Redshift grips and double-wrap my bars. I have big hands and like the thickness two layers of tape provides. Long enough to easily cover the grips and another layer of tape. Feels grippy and durable; will report back after longer use.

Long and easy to wrap, look good, its grippy but not very comfortable if riding without gloves, a little too much texture for my liking. few short weeks after start using it and decided too change the handlebars, one side was easy to unwrap but the other side split and was removed in small chunks, for tape in this price range I hoped to be ab le to use it again at least one more time, especially after such short time, unfortunately this was not the case

This is my second roll, works great, I was surprised this is not stamped with REDSHIFT name like the first roll but works just the same.

My new Checkpoint came with cheap tape. I wanted something thicker, and this came recommended by the bike shop. Their recommendation was perfect. This is thick, high quality tape that is really easy to install. I love that it has more tape per roll, so I was able to wrap the tape closer together and still have enough at the end. The tape feels good on long rides, and adds some heft to the bars, making them feel thicker and easier to grab ahold of. I recently did a 131 mile gravel race in Wyoming, and of all the things that hurt, my hands was not one of them. I will definitely purchase this again, and will use it on my daughters gravel bike when it’s time to replace her tape.

Excellent for my Jones H Bars, plenty of stretch and length. Very comfortable riding with it. Worked wonders for my ride and my Yamaha Civante's new H Bars.

Top layer started peeling after 6 mos.

Ruban bien confortable, bon grip (pas encore testé sous la pluie), posé en même temps que les cruise control top bar, ça fait du bien ! Attention à bien coller la partie adhésive sur le cintre car ça peut arracher le ruban déjà posé sinon. Je recommande.

Super Tape, tolles Griffgefühl sowohl mit als auch ohne Handschuhe. Verarbeitung einwandfrei und durch die Länge des Tapes, kann man auch schön eng wickeln. Das wickeln ging einwandfrei und der Kleber ließ sich auch gut wieder lösen, wenn man sich mal „verwickelt“ hat. Bin jetzt schon einige 100 Kilometer gefahren und alles ist nach wie vor tiptop.

I love this grip tape, easily my favourite. I've used others from Wolf Tooth and while I do like those, especially the colours, this wins it all for me. Easily wrapped my drop bar with the ergo grips from this company, had plenty of length to get it done. The backs are taped so it helps set it as you go (won't unravel).
