I cannot live without this stuff after using it, it is actually the best prewash scalp treatment I’ve ever used (and I am a licensed professional, so take that as you will). It smells nice, kind of fresh but very mild, and it is absolutely phenomenal for any kind of textured hair! It soothes my scalp and really knocks out buildup on the roots WITHOUT DRYING, I’m convinced it’s actually witchcraft. My curls always look amazing immediately after use, it breathes life back into them every time! I typically use it every other shampoo but you could easily use it every shampoo if you wanted to, it’s super mild (I just like to stretch it out as long as I can since it’s not the cheapest). Definitely well worth the price, it’s pretty potent so you don’t need too much per use, I have thick hair and one bottle lasts about a month, maybe a month and a half if I’m really being stingy with it. If you have textured hair and/or a sensitive scalp this stuff is IT. Also fantastic for knocking out hard water buildup if you have hard water in your area (definitely also get a filtered shower head for that as well though). It would be fantastic for protective hairstyles too if that’s your jam, since the nozzle is pretty precise you could get between braids and cornrows pretty well.

I have thin hair and use a lot of product. I put this on the night before a wash so the product removes product and softens the cuticle.

Great clarifying shampoo. It has a silky almost oily feel to it when applying directly to your scalp as per the instructions. It makes it easy to spread and once you add water it creates a nice lather. Do not recommend using more than once or twice a month as needed because it can strip your hair. Also recommend following up with either a moisturizing shampoo or conditioner.

It does do its job at cleaning the scalp and removing dry skin however you must use it proper you have to leaving it in temporarily before ultimately washing out .

4C natural here! My scalp can get a little itchy at times and this product has helped reduce scalp irritation and product build up. I love the oily texture that turns into a lather! Smells pretty good as well. Highly recommend.

I only tried once so far but it seems to have already helped. Whenever I got my hair cut they commented that I needed a scalp treatment. I figured I'd save some money and do it myself since I bought this on sale. I have very thick hair and sensitive scalp, which is just no fun at all to deal with. I haven't noticed flakiness and it's been a week with only one treatment. Doesn't make my scalp burn or anything and seems to have gotten rid of the buildup. My hair feels good. The smell isn't overwhelmingly tea tree oil which is what I was hoping because sometimes people use way too much of that in their products. Hopefully with more use the redness from the sensitivity will go down.
