Full TOT_55D2900 LED Strips for TCL 55S405 55S403 55S401 JL.D55051330-004ES-M

I was slightly hesitant to purchase these as some had noted they could see the LEDs through the screen, but they work perfectly for me. Just speculation, but perhaps the people who had this problem might have put the filters in the wrong order when rebuilding the TV. This review was created about 3 months after I installed the backlights and no issues whatsoever.UPDATE: After almost 3 years, these lights finally failed. I say finally because the TV is in heavy use (about 10 hours per day). Just ordered another set for a second round of repair. Here’s hoping for three more years.

Packaged securely. Easy to install. No issues. No peel off adhesive on the backs but the original ones didn't have adhesive on backs either. Works like new TV. Didn't notice any bright spots like some users said so I guess quality control and assurance was ramped up.. Shipment came faster than expected and I got it delivered on a Sunday.

I did an internet search and watched a video online on how to do this. Not only was it relatively easy, the picture looks better than it did before. Definitely watch a video first as there are a few small nuances that are no intuitive. I am very pleased spending ~$30 rather than ~$500+ for a new TV.

I failed to take a photo of placing the led lights into my TV set but it fits perfect. I was skeptical because I paired them to the old ones removed from the tv. The new set was a bit wider but it fits perfectly. The lights were beautifully bright and there were none blown

This product came in a package that you could of sent a dozen eggs in. Totally and highly recommend this product and this company. I even got a response at 12 in the morning to find out that the 4 lights that they sent, were actually all the 8 I needed. They were just packed back to back. The quality is superior. A perfect fit. And even received them early. Great overall experience!

Like another reviewer, I too was able to repair my LED backlight problem on my TCL 55S405 with these LEDs, but I'm seeing the new LEDs bleed through the LCD. This shows as some spots being brighter than others on the screen, like the previous reviewer posted. This is noticeable more at an angle than straight on, but still noticeable, especially during scenes with a lot of grey. Three stars from me, because they are compatible with my TV as advertised, but performs differently than the originals, making the picture worse. Not enough for me to get rid of the TV, but a downside none the less

Exactly what I needed to replace the backlights and in my TCL 55 inch tv.

After watching a YouTube video I decided to do the repair myself and went with this backlight. Everything worked great and after about 2 hours of closely following the video I installed these backlight and my tv was working again. Fast forward to 9 months later and the backlights are out again, total waste of money!!!
