The best thing in toasters my family has ever experienced. It's just level beyond their competition. Also, this seller is great. When ordering I've forgotten to ask for Eu power plug, so seller contacted me to change this in order. Overall, great product, and best experience with seller on Amazon ever.

Due to the fact that I make my own bread and am somehow incapable of making bread that fits a normal toaster I needed to go old school. After looking around I spotted this gem, it's pricey that is a big drawback otherwise works as intended. It's recommended settings lean to lightly toasted bread so don't be shy about cranking it up. It makes toast, toasties and grilled cheese like a champ. I haven't tried pizza nor am I tempted to. Spoiling the toaster with grease just seems like a bad way to go. There seems to be something to the misting function because even when I crank the timer up to 10 the center is still soft while the surface of the bread is what you would expect from being toasted for 10 minutes. It's one heck of a crunch but instead of the burnt brick I was expecting it was a dark tan with a soft inside, though once again I make my own bread store bought might react differently due to higher sugar content and whatnot (has to be something as my breads shelf life is much lower than the stores). Final judgement: It makes good toast, I haven't been let down even when trying to mess it up. you can toss in a slice of bread topped with ham and cheese 6-8 minutes later you have a tasty snack. Can't go wrong with that. Is it worth the money? That's a tough one I'd say it's perfect price point would be $150 possibly $200 if the internal build quality is up to snuff but I haven't seen one cracked open to know if the parts are top shelf of standard issue. I was a bit nervous because I kept reading about it not shutting all the way so I tried to recreate it. If you unlatch the pullout tray from the door the door no longer shuts all the way. I'm assuming this is the user error unless I see the same symptoms down the line

I wanted to LOVE this toaster. I LOVE the small footprint, the way it looks and the controls. Unfortunately, it simply doesn't toast - anything. It takes at least 10 minutes to get any color on a piece of sourdough, cut 1 cm thick. The upper element, only stays on for a few seconds at a time, then it goes dark, it takes forever. Though I use water as directed, my toast is very crunchy, not soft and moist in the center, I think because it takes so long to brown, to get ANY color at all. I've also tried toasting store bought sandwich bread, bagels, pastries etc... For general heating, it is fine, but it simply does NOT toast. There is no browning in under 10 minutes, for anything. I am SO incredibly disappointed. This was a complete waste of money - arguably a lot of money for a toaster. I'm looking for a replacement as I'm tired of subpar toast.

The Balmuda toaster I received this time makes bread toast more easily than the last one, I think this is normal. I was surprised that the bread toasted well in even a small temperature. The Balmuda I returned to was hardly ever golden even when I baked bread and I never understood why people liked Balmuda, so I barely used it. I thought it was only expensive. Anyway, I don't need to write a review but I would like to inform you that the Balmuda toaster is not the same quality, so I almost disappointed with Balmuda.

It does what it says it does. I wish it did do convection as well air fry. At $300 I would expect. I got it for much less. still feel like I overpaid but it does toast all kinds of breads better then anything on the market. I was thinking I could just put water inside a convection toaster oven but it is not the same thing. This steams better then that. If you love a quality toasted bread this is the appliance to buy.
