Great torque wrench and easy to use.
Purchased mainly for the degree feature on this torque wrench as the wrench isn't really used for much else in my own opinion because just due to the precision of this torque wrench i wouldn't advise using it on torquing wheels. This torque wrench is mainly for torquing cylinder heads or crankshaft bearings or other torque applications that involve critical torque. Many i work with say "why not buy a Snap-on Tech Angle". The reason is because they are just too expensive so this is the next best option. I already own the 3/8 Digital Torque Wrench from ACdelco and have had nothing but success with it as i personally love it but trying to torque cylinder head bolts with a 3/8'' torque wrench is difficult so i had to purchase a 1/2'' version. Couple features about the torque wrench as it does N-m, Kg-cm, In-lb., Ft-lb, Angle Degree. The buttons are very easily to switch between different modes and the most feature used is the angle mode as it is EXTREMELY HELPFUL. It's just so simple as you press A-F-K button until it shows the degree in the corner then you toggle up or down to set the degrees. Now i seen many reviews that when you reach a degree it doesn't stop and reset, you have 0 it and restart and yes that is correct as it isn't like the Snap on that resets to 0 when you reach a preset degree. You will have to 0 it and then move on to the next bolt but if you try to turn it on the next bolt the buzzer with sound telling you that you have reached the degree. It's almost dummy proof in my opinion. The torque wrench is a good quality torque wrench as i have used it several times on cylinder heads. I think the only issue i see is when you are using degree tracking, the tracking works surprisingly well as it when you need to ratchet it back to swing the degree keeps set at what you stopped at but it does take a second for it to compensate as when you swing then sweep more degrees it will almost like not measure the degree. Also the ratchet is not a fine tooth ratchet so when you are sweeping it may not register a degree because it hast''t engaged on the next paw in the ratchet gear. It's not a horrible digital torque wrench, the accuracy i spot on as i have used on digital torque wrenches such as the Snap-on's and all seem to be inline with the correct torque. However the degree tracking it a little troublesome to get used to, it does work and i haven't had any issues yet and all seems to be going okay. Overall, i would say i would recommend this torque wrench as a substitute because it's a good decent quality torque wrench just half the cost of others.

Outstanding Torque wrench
I have a few torque wrenches from a variety of manufacturers. Dial, click and electronic. Proto, Quinn, Lexivon, TZTools and now ACDelco. The click type are fine, but incomplete in doing many proper torque functions. In many cars' brake and suspension (and engine) torquing, the service manual will say to torque to a specific value PLUS a certain degree. (Such as torque to 70nM plus 30 degrees.) With click and dial type torque wrenches, you can get the torque value, but either need to guess at the degree or use a protractor (a complicated and not speedy process). With the ACDelco electronic torque wrench, you can get the torque and degrees with precision. This model will give accurate torque values from 12 ft-lb to 250 ft-lb. This is a great range. But the arm is long for the lower torque values. A shorter torque wrench such as the ACDelco ARM601-3 3/8” (3.7 to 37 ft-lbs.) would be a good addition to this one. Having these two torque wrenches would handle any torque requirements.

Cant complain
this allowed me to finish assembling my engine M13A for a Suzuki Jimny without much issue, its easy to figure out and easy to set to what ever values you need. The built in angle reading is the biggest selling point for me and set all the bolts to what I needed it to go to, the only gripe I have is that when setting two angles for eg the crank bolts require you to set to 25Nm then 60deg twice since i am running through them in a specific pattern it the toque wrench only shows me the peak torque for the first pass. when doing the second angle pass it does not show the final torque. And that so far is the only gripe I have with the wrench

Just buy it
Works great. Calibrate in about 3 seconds. Loud beeps. Angle is spot on. Tested torque on snap on truck it was .63 off and that’s good enough for me. I’ve rebuilt 3 motors with it in about 6 months and still works as good as new. Case is super nice. Only thing I don’t like is how slow changing torque or angle takes. Won’t start skipping by 5 or ten. Definitely worth the money. And yes it works better then the snap on one I had before. The snap off one lasted 1 year and it fried. We will see how the longevity is with this ac delco.

The Best One So Far
The Wrench is 26" tip to tip. with the 2 AA Batteries it weighs 3.25 lbs. The Case is 3.5 lbs.The head of the wrench is 2" x 2.5". To open the battery case, Twist the end of the wrench 1/4 turn counterclockwise 1/4th a turn. Insert 2 AA batteries positive end first. Replace the battery compartment cap and press the "C" button to start up. The solid metal case has a form fitted compartment which holds the wrench tightly. If you store the wrench in a warm toolbox or tool chest in the bed of your truck, I would remove the batteries as I usually forget to check the batteries in all my tools, only to find the batteries have lost their charge and have leaked inside the tool. When you register the Wrench to get the 1 Year Extended Warranty, you will need the information from the store you bought it from. These wrenches come from Durofix.comYour Amazon receipt has the model and date of purchase date. and the serial number is etched just below the "AC Delco" on the handle next to the Socket head. They will send you a conformation of registration and warranty by email. If I left anything out you need to know, let me know.Consumers need to watch out for each other.hypernez

Works well
Worked perfectly for required angle torque. Alarm sounds and lights worked well to let you know when you were getting close to torque and when you reached it.
