Q: what's youngest age for usage

I bought them for (small) 4 and 6 year olds, and they worked great.

Q: Are these appropriate for an 8yr old?

Yes they are definitely. Unless the 8 yr old is really big kid,like adult size body

Q: Do I need wrap? Confused by the description if I will or not.

My granddaughter used the gloves by themselves.So we used no wrap.
