THINX Hiphugger Period Underwear for Women, Moderate Absorbency Period Panties, Feminine Care, Dusk, 3X

I was looking for something I could wear at night, I hate pads, feel like a diaper and I’m paranoid about getting TSS so no overnight tampons. Then there’s also those days when you’re not sure when your period is coming, I use these to prevent the frequent trips to the bathroom to check or having to wake up overnight. They are great for if you expect your period at work, traveling or overnight, I just pop these on and it takes the stress out of ruining a nice pair of underwear or clothes or an embarrassing accident. Once I got my period right as my flight was taking off. That’s finally what prompted this purchase! I travel frequently. I have used it for two periods now and just ordered a second pair. I’m hoping to minimize my use of tampons to just a few on my first day then use these underwear. I wouldn’t use them alone on day one but they are great as a safety measure. So far i really like them for what I needed, I think I will save money not having to buy as many tampons plus it’s better for the environment. These ones actually also look great great on. Love the lace detail. For reference I bought the Small and I have a waist of 26 and hip of 36 inches (actual measurements) I’m short waisted and 5’4”,the top of the underwear is about 4-5 inches below my belly button. It’s snug but comfortable. Hope this helps someone.

I wanted to try these for emergencies and read tons of reviews before finally purchasing. I originally got a medium pair because that is what I measured as per the site but was hesitant due to a lot of the reviews saying they run small. However, I opted for a large when I repurchased because the mediums felt very tight on me. I wore the large pair once and bled through on the side of the seam because I guess they shifted too much. I wish the fit was better on me, but I do like the easy clean and reusability of these! I don't think I have a heavy flow, but I have not had any other issues with any of the correct size pairs I have purchased!

I decided to size down a little to prevent leaks, big mistake. They’re a little too snug and the waistband is itchy from the decorative mesh. I’m sure over time they’ll stretch but in the meantime I’m uncomfortable.

These seem like very good quality. They aren't bulky like I expected they would be. The seaming for the absorbency area is on the inside, so these shouldn't create additional panty marks through tighter pants. However, I ordered the hip-hugger version as that's usually what I wear. I found the rise to be lower than expected, hitting me in just the right spot to make the panties roll down. If they were an inch taller, I would prefer that (but I'm fairly tall and long waisted, so this is sometimes an issue for me). I have now ordered the high rise ones and hope that they will fit a bit better. Otherwise, the sizing seems pretty true as far as S,M,L. I generally wear a size US10 for clothing and I bought the large size. They are maybe just slightly big for me, but I think the medium might be a tad too small.

When I first heard of these I thought it was for period leakage I didn’t know it was to replace using a tampon or pad… and honestly I don’t see how any consumer could think that would work but.. yeah just look at the reviewsAnyway! If you want to use this instead of a pad/tampon I suggest you get a cup or reusable felt pad.I have an iud and it’s great for my periods because they are hardly anythingNOW!! Super comfortable, great coverage, absorbency is perfect. Fits exactly as expected. No awkward bunching or rolling of the fabric.

I wanted to purchase these out of convenience and, let’s be honest, general curiosity about period underwear. Thought those would be a great option to sleep in but they’re not very comfortable. They are tight fitting and who wants that when you’re already dealing with bloat at that time of the month? Size up for sure. Absorbency was decent though.

Love the color and the idea. These run small and they're pretty pricey. I didn't listen to the reviews when I saw "order up a size" and im kicking myself for that since I bought 4.The panties do have a swimsuit material outside and soft cotton on the inside, in between those layers it feels like a layer of plastic and it makes a plastic rubbing sound when you walk. I mostly use cuts but I wanted the back up. May return for a bigger size, they fit but they're a bit tight.
