Woody Watch Natural Bamboo Wood Wristwatch with Bracelet and Japanese Quartz Movement

I bought this for my husband and he loved it. I was worried that it would be too bulky looking but the fit was great and the wood is really pretty. We're actually buying another one because he lost the first one last year and he's begging for another. It's a great buy!

This is a BEAUTIFUL and unique watch. My husband is a watch guy, so when I found out that I could get him a watch made out of wood, I just HAD to give it a try! And I think this is a fantastic option!What we liked:1) The size. The face and the band are much bigger than a lot of the other wooden watches that I've seen and this one really stands out with its size. Its not so big that it's obnoxious, but it definitely draws the eye to it.2) The colors. Very understated, looks high end, the grain looks great on the face and the band. I'm glad I went with a lighter color.3) The clasp. The deployment type clasp is my husbands favorite type and this one seems to be well done. It holds securely and looks good.4) The style. Its very understated and minimal, and it lends a hand towards a modern aspect with a side of peculiarity with the wood material. Its very cool.5) Lightweight. It only weighs about an ounce and my husband really likes how light it is.6) It commands a lot of attention. My husband came home the first day after wearing it and said "I had no idea that so many people looked at watches. Almost every person I talked to today made a comment about it, and most people were really fascinated with it." Its a definite attention getter without being over the top.7) The watch comes in a very nice box wrapped around a little black pillow and the presentation is great. This would be a GREAT gift to give to the man in your life. Well presented.What we didn't like:1) The only complaint is that it might not be big enough for you if you have a very large wrist. My husband usually has to take out a link with every watch hes owned, but this one fit him right out of the box. Its a good thing for him, but if you have a large wrist, this might not fit you very well unless you get another link.Overall, my husband was THRILLED to give this a try and it has been put in his regular rotation of watches that he wears. This is such a unique and different watch. When I first saw it online I knew I had to have it. If you are into things that are a little out of the ordinary then this may be the watch for you.Look: What a beautiful watch! The simplistic design of this watch is wonderful. The tiny hash marks are just enough to help you figure out the time without the need of large printed numbers on the face. The bamboo seems authentic as you can see the varied color in my photo. The photo of the watch face shows the beauty that is in the grain lines. The movement is smooth and very quiet. You actually can't hear the second hand ticking unless you press your ear right against the face.The band of this watch is about the width of a US quarter. On a smaller female this may seem like a very large band. I am personally 5'9" and find the larger bands to look nice on my long forearm. The band is also a perfect size for my husband as it is very similar to the width of a standard men's watch. The links are removable and the band can be sized down if needed.Feel: Talk about a lightweight watch. I know bamboo is a fairly light product, but I was shocked at how delicate this watch feels. Even though the watch is lightweight it is sturdy. The links seem well formed and have a fluid movement to them that allows for the band to move freely while the latch is clasped.Use: This watch is a very simple design. If you are looking for bells and whistles like lights, alarms or dates then this is not for you. I have started seeing wooden watches a lot lately and really love the look. This one is bamboo, so really eco friendly. As bamboo is so fast growing. It makes this watch very light weight also. Even though it is made out of wood, it has links that make up the band, not leather. It is a little big for my husband's wrist, but he says he likes it that way and does not want any of the links removed to make it smaller.This look is so impressive and it does draw attention when it is worn. The look is fabulous!!It comes in a box that makes a nice presentation if you are giving this as a gift. I did receive this watch for free in exchange for my opinion of it in my review.

This watch is great, and looks fantastic on! It is all wood which makes it light weight but also very fashion forward. It fits my husband perfectly and didn't need to be adjusted. It comes in a very nice box and the packaging is nice as well! It was easy to adjust the time and works properly. I would recommend this as a gift!
