Truly good for any size boat
I got a boat cover that had a generic support pole that just did not work. It would fall down and actually broke, so I got this. It works great. I don't know what the max size boat this can accommodate, but it apparently can handle a much larger boat than my 16.5' boat as evidenced by the strap lengths. I had to cut probably 10 feet from each strap for my boat. It works great and helps keep water from pooling in the boat cover.

So far so good
The supports work well for my application how ever I needed 6 Xtra straps for the cleats and 2 to connect the supports together the straps served as a support system for the tarp works great for my 19 1/2 ft. Bass boat

Works with caveat
As others have written, they will collapse under weight. I used the gorilla tape trick. It pushed past the gorilla tape. So I used sheet metals screws to hold them in place permanently. They won't slide to take down now either, but I don't need them to. I just stow them until it's time to put them back up.

Fixes the Pooling Boat Cover
I installed this under my Jon boat cover that was working well, but filling with water every time it rained. Putting this inside the cover running the lines around the bow and down the stern has kept the pooling to a minimum. Now instead of scooping a couple gallons of water out of the cover after each storm, I lift an area of the cover to eliminate maybe a couple of ounces of water.Unlike other products, I believe the nylon webbing strap creates additional lift beyond the simple post. These lines from the post to the corners of the boat help keep the cover up to resist pooling. I would definitely buy this again.

Breaks when cold
Worked ok...or seemed to....until we had a 30 degree weather day, and I had to reposition it. Then the base broke, and when I removed it from under the cover, the flange on the top broke as well. I guess I'll go back to my inverted 5-gallon bucket. The aluminum pole seems sturdy enough, but the plastic top and bottom seems to get quite brittle in cold weather.

Plastic clips break!
The plastic anchors for the straps are very thing. Removed and installed cover 3 times in 6 months and one of the clips already broke. This would be 5 stars with thicker plastic or metal clips

Nice support
Had a little trouble getting it to stay up but I finally figured it out but it was my fault it didn’t stay up.

Total garbage, overpriced to the power of 10...
This Chinese made boat cover stand is made of cheap, thin plastic and very light aluminum. It will not stay under the boat cover to support it, as it's apparently made for. Guys, get a piece of 4"x4" wood, or a piece of PVC/ABS pipe, make a base for it out of 2"x8"x12" and put a rounded metal/plastic plate over the top, and you have a solid support for $15. Buy a good dinner for your family for the difference...

Seems to work fine
Had it lower once in 90kmph winds. Popped it back up and havent had and issue since. Does what its supposed to do. No more pooling on my mooring cover. Worth the money.

All plastic pieces need to be heavier duty some of us live in sub zero temps
First pull on strap and plastic strap buckle breaks it’s a great concept but plastic pieces are very light

Very good product
I wish the base would have been a little sturdier. Overall the product does just what I wanted it to do, shed water off the tarp.
