They were very easy to use and the quality is very good.

I burned 100 of the discs and had 0 failures. They are higher quality than the newer verbatim discs that are out now. They seem to be made by ritek in Vietnam.

I had a CD collection of over 5,000 discs, which went into my ex's possession after our divorce. Fortunately, I had ripped every one of the CDs to my computer in case any one of them ever got lost or damaged. Little did I know I would end up burning the entire collection! I have used quite a few different brands of blank discs, but every brand would have at least one or two, sometimes a lot more of defective discs, which would end up in the garbage. Then I stumbled on the Smart Buy discs. I have gone through at least six hundred of their discs so far and not only are they insanely inexpensive, but I have not had a defective disc yet! I have only had to throw maybe 3 or 4 away because of my own stupid blunders. An added plus is since the discs have no printing of any kind it gives me free reign on how I want to label them. I read a few reviews before buying my first set of discs that said that it was difficult to tell which was the right side to burn. Actually determining which side to burn is super easy, barely an inconvenience! Every CD has a tiny lip that runs around the center hole and is about an inch and a half in diameter and sticks out maybe a sixteenth of an inch. That's the side to burn. One glance at each side and it's a dead giveaway. I have never put a disc in upside down! To make a long story short (too late!) Smart Buy discs are the best audio format purchase I have ever made in my life and that's how long I will remain a customer!

Update: Interesting - I just took a look at all the 4- and 5-star reviews and NONE are from 2021 or 2022.They're all from 2020 or earlier. So: what the hell has happened to the quality of these CDs? Here, now: we return to my 1-star review from late September/early October 2022, which WOULD have been a 0-star review if such a thing were possible. BEWARE: these CDs have become trash.------------------------------In brief: I do a LOT of CD and DVD authoring and reproduction - utilizing a variety of file types.I bought these CDs for both creation, and then mass-quantity reproduction of Mp3s, and seriously: I kept trying to find ONE that worked properly. After all: sometimes when one switches brands, the burner drives need to adjust to a different manufacturer. But in my first TWELVE burns, only the THIRTEENTH worked. So - just out of curiosity, I kept burning - but with test criteria. I burned another 13, but varied them between three computers using two built-in and one external drive. And the results were largely the same - but after that second 13, I never DID get another working copy. And I'd burn a couple on THIS drive, then switch to one of my standby Verbatim discs, then back to these Smart Buy things to try the same or similar procedure on another computer/drive, and then back to Verbatim so on. Varied the burning speeds, etc. And here's the best part: ALL the Verbatim discs burned perfectly - while THIS cheapo crap did NOT.So - pretty good test, at least in my office: and the remainder of this garbage was returned to Amazon.But I do want to say that the Smart Buy Shiny Silver Top <<DVD>> blanks have always been extremely reliable. And NO, I didn't accidentally mix up the CDs with the DVDs; a burner knows the difference and won't allow you to burn your correct set-up onto the incorrect disc. So - no complaints about the Smart Buy DVD - it's the Shiny Top <CDs> which have proven to be useless trash.

Great blank CD's. Bought other brand at local Mart...goodness, they had their logo all over the front. Where was I to write was very limited, also the price was more for half the quantity.

Ok, so for my purposing of these CD's, just as decorations, these are perfect. I HAVE NOT tried to use them for their Audio/Video capabilities.Look wise, they are excellent. Although the top and bottom few were cracked upon opening, and a few have some serious scratches on the recordable side of the disc. Both sides are shiny, so watch out when trying to burn content to them, as well as they do not work with sharpies well.In the end, Amount for price, you have nothing to loose, even with a few lemons in the bunch.

I like the price of these CDs they work vary well for what I use them for. I do lot of recording in my recording studio and these are gret to back up my projects and for saving master copies on disk. They burn well and I have had no problems with them .
