Cuts very well

I own way to many kitchen shears (scissors). I have the Shun 7300, the KAI version of those, the Victorinox take apart, the LivingGo, and others. For normal day to day kitchen use, I find these the most comfortable jack-of-all-traits pair that I pick up first. So what I like: - very easy to clean with take apart and put back together - hold for a small hand (for whole family to use) all the way to large hand (which I can use comfortably) - simple profile with no extra bottle openers or lid openers that snag on things (or things you might be even cutting) - sharp and hold their edge - sturdy - once aging easy to take apart/reassemble where you get to clean every single section from the raw chicken you might cut, with no rusting Where these are lacking: - cutting the larger chicken bones. ... So good for butterflying a chicken, but not good for cutting through leg or thigh bones.

I've bought cheaper shears and they were good until the plastic molding broke apart. I decided to pay a little more and hopefully find a pair that would last a little longer. I've only had this pair for a couple of weeks, but my first impressions are that this is a good set of shears. They are sharp and easy to take apart and clean. The handle is most important as I've got other shears, but the handle is too small, therefore I avoid using them. The handle on this set will fit an average to large male hand. I'll probably buy another set because shears have a habit of growing legs and walking off around this abode.

As title reads - shears has remained sharp throughout heavy use and is super easy to clean. Two things to point out 1) I've not really used it for heavy duty tasks (cutting through chicken carcasses) 2) Edges are serrated so sharpening is out of the question Despite the above 2 points this is a great product based on the design (detachable blades) and the quality of the make.

Good pair of scissors. Nothing much to shout about, but 3 months in and it still is sharp and cuts well on everything I have used it on. Plastic handle is non-obstructive.
