Update 7.13.25 I am upping the stars to 5 as it's not their fault i have a hard time seeing the clips, that is just me. The vest does exactly what it is designed for. I wish I'd gotten the heavier one so I could use it to work my way up to a heavier weight. I underestimated how much I could put on at once, but I still get great benefit from this one. I bought this vest to "up" my walking game. I walk 10,000 steps a day with 1/2 hr of aerobics. However, I wanted to "up" my game in terms of aerobic benefit, and this had delivered nicely as it raises my heart rate without a lot of additional effort. I can very lightly jog in place to get just where I want to be. I got this also because I like the option to start lower and move up. It turns out though I didn't need that, but still I was glad to have it. In hindsight I wish I had gotten the heavier option to start with but, live and learn, this works for me now so I'll stick with it. The only thing I don't like about it so far is the clips are black both male and female parts so it makes it difficult for me visually when lining them up to click in place while angling the vest to reach them. This is just me though, I am sure. There is the chemical smell that others have mentioned but I expected it and it does seem to have lessened after a few days. In terms of "comfort", well, it doesn't chafe or cut into me so I it has enough padding, that's about all I can say. And if I don't wear a shirt it stays in place thanks to the rubber coating on the inside of the straps. I am very happy with it for now, I took a star off because of the smell and not being able to see easily to join the clips, but those are relatively minor problems in my opinion.

great vest! I wore it and it fits well and is comfortable. I like that I can begin with the lightest weight and move up to the heavier weight. I'm 94 years old and think it will help keep my bones and muscles healthy so I can keep getting around safely. Should have done it years ago.

This works great, the only reason I didn’t get 5 stars is because it still smells strongly like chemicals (I’ve had it several months now). I do like there are weights in the front and back. I also like that it goes over my head and clips together lower as to not chafe under my arms.

I am very glad that I did not pass this up because of the negative reviews. I did a lot of research before buying this vest and I am confident I made a good decision. There was a faint smell when I first opened it but it went away. I don't know if some vests smell more than others or if some people are just sensitive but I barely noticed the smell and it did not transfer to my clothes. Having the ability to adjust the weights is great but I've maxed out the weight so that isn't a big plus for me anymore. It is pretty comfortable considering it weighs 32 pounds. It fits very well and does not move around (I'm 6 feet and 210 pounds). It is a bit challenging to put on and take off because it does weigh 32 pounds (but it is hard to blame the vest for that). I've had no issues with leakage of the sand. A big plus is that you can store your phone and keys in the front (many competing products have the storage in the back). If I wanted to find something to be critical about, it would be that maybe offering other colors would be nice...I live in Arizona and yes, I walk in the heat with it and black is probably not the best color although it may not make much difference.

Yes it smells, but I soaked it laundry detergent for 24 hours and the smell is gone. It’s very effective and easy to use. Fits a wide range of sizes and has a good range of weight. I have the 4-10lb version.

The vest functions well. I am a 140lb female and have to cinch the straps all the way up. If you are smaller than me, you may find it a bit too large for you. My issue is the SMELL. I failed to read the reviews and had no idea that it would smell like wearing ground up rubber tires! I feel like the weighted vest may help my cardio and bone density but I do wonder about the long term effects of breathing in the chemical smell while wearing it. I've hung it outside for two days but the smell persists. If smells bother you like they do me, this may not be a good fit for you.

I am really pleased with this weight vest. I like how I can change the weight. Makes it easy for everyone in the family to use it. I am ready for one that weighs more at this point but this will still be useful while weight training etc. It's pretty comfortable, but until you get used to it, it can press down on your shoulders and neck a bit and become uncomfortable if you have it on for long periods. I'm pretty petite though so maybe less of an issue for others. I saw a lot of complaints about the smell. While it does have a strongish smell when I first got it, I didn't find it bothersome. I was wary because I am super scent sensitive. It smells like new tires or new heavy gym mats and I don't mind that smell so it doesn't bother me. I wear it on walks and the smell was gone in a couple weeks, I'd say. Another concern someone else had mentioned it that it can't be thrown in the wash because the base weight of the vest is 4lbs. That's true. Also doesn't bother me. It's only me wearing it (so far) and I supposed you could spot wash, or dunk it in soapy water and let thoroughly dry and it would be fine. That all being said, I would recommend this vest and plan to buy another of a different weight.

Just opened it Impressed at first glance Smells very chemical but hopefully that will go away once I wear it outside a few time and here in Canada it will just end up smelling like wild fire smoke I like how it feels on The vest alone weighs 4 pounds and it is actually quite nice I’m a teacher and I’ve worked with children who needed deep pressure and sometimes would have weighted stuffed animals and I have also used a weighted blanket which reduced anxiety I can see this helping with that too even just sitting wearing it now it feels nice having that weight on me I did my research on how much weight to use for my body and it was recommended to use 5% of your body weight so I’m going to start with 7 pounds The little 1 pound bags are easy to take out and add and the front pocket for keys or phone is nice too I should have gotten the pink one what was I thinking?!? Oh ya the black one had 10% off Anything to save a few bucks Will update after I do some housework or go for a walk

Me gustó el material es resistente y la opción de aumentar o disminuir el peso, así como el diseño ya que no estorba con los brazos. Con respecto al aroma q mencionan en otros comentarios desaparecen a los 3 a 5 días. Recomiendo este chaleco.
