I ordered this light to help with video calls for work. It worked great but mounting it on my laptop and having it straight in my face, it was a little too distracting and headache inducing - even at the lowest brightness level. The base has a 1/4-20 hole that will fit into any standard tripod stand. I have limited space behind the laptop that wouldn't allow for a tripod so I ordered a goose-neck stand with 1/4-20 attachment to allow for a different mounting angle and it worked like a charm. The base folds flat and the light mounts on the base magnetically so it's easy to adjust the angle.The only gripe I have about the light is that I wish it would remember the last brightness setting all the time, it will sometimes switch the brightness level on you. But for ~$15 I really can't complain. Instructions included with product did not help me know how to attach light to my computer. What is intuitive to some, may not be for others. However, the information provided within the Amazon product description was very helpful. At the same time, I don't want to have to go elsewhere to find out all I need to know about getting started with something. Yes, though I understand that people maybe don't tend to read stuff, it still would be nice to know the basics of getting going. It was actually not too difficult to figure out, but the next person may may want more help.Lots of lighting choices. I haven't had opportunity to use it yet but I'm prepared.This is my first purchase of this type of product.

I ordered this light to use on my monitor in my home office when I’m on video calls.When it arrived, I believe it took more time to open the package than to hook it up. Instructions are included, but really aren’t needed. The “clamp” isn’t a spring, so it’s doesn’t put pressure on your monitor or laptop screen. Honestly, all I had to do was plug in the USB, position the light and press the power button.The control buttons are on the cord, making is easy to adjust brightness and switch from cool to warm light. It doesn’t weigh much, so it doesn’t tip off the monitor. It is simple to adjust the angle as well.The light itself is small, but provides ample light for my needs.

I am facing a corner so my light is above me and I only have a window to my left. This has helped to light up my face when using video. I like the various lighting options. I have learned what amount I have to push the buttons to get my optimal lighting as if you turn it off it resets.

This is a small, lightweight MAGNETIC light for video conferences - and that means it practically installs itself. I wish it were wider, but that's just a personal preference. The price is very low and it works flawlessly. If I had another Zoom computer, I would buy another one!

Not that I enjoy video video meetings, but these this light makes me look much more presentable during them. I no longer appear to be in a dungeon, but rather a bright and pleasant workspace. It gets really bright on the highest setting, too bright that I can't use it for video meetings, but instead I use it for my hobby work where I need a lot of light.

I bought this little key light to improve my video conferences at my desktop computer, and it absolutely does the job. The USB-A plug will power it from any USB port. The cord is plenty long to reach to wherever you want to place it, and the in-line remote is far enough from either end of the cord that you'll be able to make sure it's in reach. The mount is actually the best one out of the five different light models I tried-- it's made of metal, has a firm hinge that's not going to budge once you get it set, and has a rounded-off rubber inside to grip the monitor back, instead of the fold-out 'foot' that most mounts use these days. It's also deep enough to fit any monitor; it has more than 2 inches of clearance. The light attaches to the mount via a magnetic ball-and-socket, which is a pretty neat choice. That means the light has full freedom of movement on 3 axes, because it's not actually attached to the mount. That mount design also means that this light travels very well, because there are no protruding parts to get stuck on anything, damage other items, or get snapped off in your bag. The light itself gets BRIGHT considering that it's 2.5 inches square. There are 6 brightness levels and 6 color levels (ranging between warm and cool), both adjusted by the remote. I do wish that the light could remember the last setting when turned off and on again, but alas, it always turns on to full brightness and a middle color setting. For just a few bucks, this little thing is absolutely worth it as a travel light or a quick fix to bad lighting at your desk at home.

I teach online and my lighting was so bad that some students complained they couldn't see me. This light is great for any kind of zoom classes/online meetings. Super easy to use and various lighting options. Could also be used for selfies lol
