Does not work for a curve bumper
For a curved bumper a device is to be placed between this and the vehicle. That device is nearly (actually) impossible to find.The only solution is to slightly bend the European plate over your thigh in order to use this mount

Fit Customized Euro Plates Perfectly
Got the job done, plain and simple. Bought a European style license plate for the front of my VW and this holder was perfect. Had plenty of holes so I could use the pre-existing screws to secure the front license plate. Highly recommend.

Holder is slightly higher in size - EURO Plate will fall out. Look for another version.
This particular holder is NOT like others I've purchased before, the holder is bigger in height compared to others I've purchased, so much so that a standard EURO plate will fall out if not secured by other means. I used a 3M back to back tape to adhere it to the holder in place. Without the 3M tape, your plate will surely fall out of the holder causing a potential accident. Hence my one (1) star rating.
