SMTech #12 - Violet Wand: Basic (Female model) Perfect Paperback – 24 July 2012

This DVD and booklet are a good introduction to basic violet wand play. There is much emphasis on safety, and there is much material that is repeated in the companion DVD and booklet on "Advanced" play.The video is short and demonstrates some basic uses, terminology, and safety measure, both for electric play and BDSM in general. The two types of violet wand - traditional and new solid state - are shown and demonstrated.I would have liked more details on the attachments used, including a description of what they are made of. While I like these DVDs from this vendor and would like to see more, I would also like them to be a bit longer and have more details. It feels a bit like these should all be on one DVD, and that they were split up onto three to have more things to sell.There is also a commercial at the end of each DVD, but I don't mind that, as the vendor advertised does offer some great dungeon furniture and services. I haven't checked to see if they are still around.The price is a bit high, in my opinion (and I have done video production professionally), but I find that is often true in niche videos like this where there is a small and difficult market. Obviously, I do not feel that the video is way overpriced, as I bought more of them and am waiting for the third in the series to come back in stock.All things considered, I think these DVDs are worth the money, especially if one does know very much about violet wands and electric play.
