Always been a little apprehensive of this type of clasp, being that other styles have been disappointing. They hold well but after a few uses, they fall apart.Seriously disappointed, having thrown 2 in the bin all ready. Won’t be buying them again unless the design is readdressed.

The large hair grips are good - the small ones only if you have fine hair or are for children's hair. I have thick hair and used a large grip over a ponytail that had a hair band already in. It's easy to open and put over ponytail and squeeze back together. Stays closed and looks nice.

I love these. So much so that I recommended to a friend and she loves them too!When we are lucky enough to have good weather, these can be used (as the product images show) to keep your hair up and tidy in a few different styles. I mostly do a pony tail, twist it and shove one these over the top to keep it in place. I don't do it perfectly, but enough that it works for me with minimal fannying around. If I took more time I'm sure it would look even better. I'm a bit more practical than elegant!Good product at a good price methinks.

Awkward to use and very stiff. Definatly would not recommend for anyone with thick hair. It gets stuck in your hair and is not the easiest to get out of hair.

My hair is too short for a ponytail, but it's thick and super hot in the summer. These are perfect for holding it back. They're cute, easy to use, and you can't beat the price. Love it.
