This 7.5 L Is Awesome!
This deep fry pan is awesome! I have the 3.5 Kadai and wanted a larger one to cook bigger meals in and this one is perfect! I tried to take a few images to show you guys just how large this is next to a can of chicken broth. I was making Hoppin' John tonight so thought I would break in the 7.5L pot! It fried the bacon pieces perfectly, added the sausage then all the veggies. I cannot wait to make some favorite Curries and Cabbage Baiji as well as German Red Cabbage and other great food! It cleans very well, just like my 3.5L. I would absolutely recommend this for those wanting to deep fry (which I do not do) or for larger meals, even as a wok!

great kadai
I've had this for 6 months now and couldn't be happier. I bought it because I was trying to learn to cook some Indian foods and it has served me very well in that capacity. I also use it for stir-fry. Its easy to clean if you put it to soak or clean it right away. The only thing I've seen really stick to it was when I browned some tofu, but I just wont use it for that again. It cleaned up fine, it just had to soak a while. The 3.75l was the perfect size for cooking up 6-8 servings at a time, not too big and not too little. So far the wood handles are holding up good and the anodized surface seems very durable. Very happy I spent a few extra dollars to get this one instead of something cheaper.

Everything sticks to it.
Updating my review: Cleaning the kadhai and using metal spoons are no issue. But the major drawback is that food sticks to it. No matter what you are cooking , it will just stick. was hoping for a non stick kind of feature with hard anodized stuff. My steel kadhai works better than this. --- I ordered this kadai as it was hard anodized and all the previous purchases of non stick items haven't been good for me at all. I had couple of pressure cooker of same material and i am happy that i do cn use any kind of spatula with this. It a good product but not give you full feature as a NON STICK material and food get stick to it. I do indian cooking mostly, but its quite easy to clean it. Have used it quite a few time. So far this looks promising. I will update again after few months.

Love this pan!
I am so very happy that I bought this pan and only sorry I waited almost a year before buying it. My only hesitation was whether I needed one more pan. I enjoy cooking many cuisines including Indian. The rounded shape makes it perfect for tempering spices. The size is perfect for most dishes I prepare and the pan is easy to clean and stylish enough to serve from. The induction base works perfectly on my glass cooktop. It also works well on my Nuwave induction cooktop which I use on our outdoor bar when wanting to keep strong odors out of the house.

Terrible
This product is horrible, the quality is so cheap you would not believe how horrible the companies return policy I called them the other day to return this frying pan because the first time EVER when I used it was so bad the food kept sticking on the bottom and the sides of the pan when this CLEARLY states that this pan is “non-stick”.When I tried to return the pan due to its horrible quality they refused to give refund because they said “after this pan is used we can’t give a refund”.I only used it ONCE and never again, they said that because I used it I can’t get a refund, but how would I know the quality of the pan before I use it.My 2 problems is false advertisement and also the terrible quality.

Very good vok/kadai.!
I waited to write the review to first try and see it for myself.! I am really pleased with this cooking pan.! It is well made, strong and appropriate for most cooking. Heats up well and if you use well nothing sticks to it. You just use a bit of oil or butter and stir it well for sticking-free cooking.! If someone is looking for a better alternative for a nonstick and harmful coating free pan, this is the one to go for.! Overall it's a great buy and I can recommend it with confidence.!

Best Hard Anodized Wok ever!
Great product, perfect size, ergonomic handles, lid is a perfect fit with a knob handle. I have been using it for sautéing vegetables etc. have not used it for deep frying yet. Easy to clean. Using wooden spoons while cooking in this wok. Altogether a great cooking experience.

Food sticks even with plenty of oil
I really wanted to like this good looking pan. As soon as I got it, I stir fried eggplant in it. I have stir fried eggplant in a Calphalon wok as well as in an All-Clad HA1 pan with great results, especially the HA1 pan. This pan does not even come close. I am really disappointed.

This has been one of the best buys I have made in a long time. My husband received a curry book for his birthday and he wants to try every recipe in the book. It is advised that you use a Karachi because they have heavy bottoms and don't allow the spices to burn. I'm so glad that I did because these curries are actually better than any takeaway we have ever tried. I would recommend anyone who likes to cook curry to buy one and this particular one is perfection and so easy to clean.

Last buy was a year back. This was our second purchase of the same Futura Hard Anodized Deep Fry Pan of 3.75L capacity. First one I purchased without the lid option and second one with lid. Second one was purchased after around a year of use of the first one and we were very happy with the quality and utility of this pan in our kitchen. So overall using the product for more than 2 years. Both the pans have lived up to its brand image and quality we would expect after spending this much money. The pan is not damaged in any way other than minor wear and tear. We use stainless steel ladles and pan has not been scratched or stained in any way. The handles have stayed intact and have stayed tight as they were on a new product. Stainless steel lid fits perfectly and has a nice wooden handle for lifting. Side handles are also wooden (wood attached to metal). So non of the handles will feel hot while cooking or lifting the lid or pan after cooking. The wooden handle on lid showing slight movement now but it is not coming out. Material is thick and heavy so items not get burned easily which happens some times when a thin steel pan is used. Ofcourse it takes a little longer for the pan to get hot compared to a thinner vessel. About Hard-Anodized Aluminum - Anodization is an electro chemical process when subjected to the surface of aluminum vessels, builds up the metal's natural coating of oxide.which results in a hard, nonreactive substance that forms a tough coating. This anodized aluminum cooking surface is very tough, non-sticky and scratch-resistant and also easy to clean. Anodization changes the microscopic structure of metal surface and that layer does not get peeled like in what happens in case of Teflon coated utensils. So hard anodized utensils although not as non sticky as Teflon coated ones are typically longer lasting. Overall very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to any one looking for a good cooking and frying pan/kadai for their kitchen. Update - these Hawkins hard anodized units are going strong after more than two year of daily use for the two units. The surface finish, handles and SS lids have all worked well and no problem faced. Pictures added are after long term use. Thanks to Hawkins on living upto the quality expectations.
