We have several large canvas photos in our home, and the existing ceiling fan lights just didn't do them justice. We installed one of these for each photo, and now they look incredible. We now have better lighting than our local art gallery! They are straight-forward to install if you are comfortable cutting holes in your ceiling and running wire through your attic, etc. Otherwise, it would be best to hire a professional. We like that the color temperature can be adjusted. However, the adjustment switch is on the metal box, so it's not easily accessible once installed. We have been using one set on a dimmer switch for over a year with absolutely zero problems. The light is very pleasing at all brightness levels with no flickering. We like them so much that we ordered another set when we got more pictures.

Worked as expected, the stranded wires are tinned making it easier to use the included push-in type connectors. If you're replacing 6" can lights (no fun to remove) you may want to get some 'goof rings' to cover up a hole that may be too large for these lights. The light is nice bright as well as uniform (many cheaper lights have hot spots). The app is decent and better than some of them I've used.

So i got these up and running for a week now and I love them! The app is easy and they work great! I will say getting them to this point was a little challenging and I hope this helps someone. To set these up they work with wifi 2.4 now my internet service modem is 5.0 and how I was able to set them up was to call up my provider of my internet, and on their end they can reduce your modem for an hour to 2.4 in which is long enough for you to program them and after an hour, your modem will automatically go back to what it was, in my case back to 5.0. They been working fine since and no problem with my internet. They are dimmable, set time to turn on n off, change color or keep them steady on same color. Great lights! They shine great on white walls, but make it an off white and not bright white for better shine.

These lights are cool for what they are. They are bright, good range of colors. My biggest issue with them is that I have 24 of them in a really large room and when you go to change the color on all of them (in a group created in the app) many times one or two of the lights wont change. Then it's an easter egg hunt to figure out the name of the one that isn't changing and manually go in and change it. But overall I really like the lights. Especially if you wont be altering the colors often.

Purchased two kits to accommodate for front and back soffit lighting. Very pleased with the results as installation and set up was very easy. Just note: each lights need to communicate via Wi-Fi 2.4 ghz so in my case I needed to install a wi-fi extender in the attic near the lights.(see photo) that cost an additional $17 from Amazon. Extender acts as a hub and go-between to main router. You can also call your internet provider and request to install 2.4 ghz along with the normal 5 ghz. On your account. mine did it at no additional cost. Overall, the setup was very easy , app is very good and allows scheduling lights; Setting up groups, and many other useful functions

I ordered 2 sets of 4 LEDs the 2 sets are a completely different shade. I verified all LEDs are set to 3000K and one measures at 3200K and the other at 3800K. Moving around the color temperature switch doesn't help they are always a different shade. in the attached photo, the white balance was set to 3000K, ISO, aperture, and shutter speed locked. you can see the wall is basically the same color but the LEDs are not. a few of the control boxes also don't work. tested by moving a working LED to the non-functioning box and the LED does not work. finally, these have an annoying buzz when connected to a dimmer even at full brightness and inside of the ceiling.

Better priced than comparable lights at $99 for a four pack - (Lumary -4”gimbal 4 pack around 150.00) that I usually go with however they were out of stock. Ran 20 lights under soffit for client in Texas. Initial connection issues but only due to existing mesh WiFi network not being setup. If you have any issues connecting lights you can also power cycle by disconnecting the quick disconnects instead of flipping breaker (in the case you have many lights connected on one circuit and near the end the others time out of pairing mode). Most connection issues are most likely due to signal strength. Reliable Tuya based WiFi light. I WILL buy again for future lighting clients! Appreciate the product!

Ive installed a million cans. Been a Master electrian for 8 plus years and im always hesitant to try a new product. I was blown away with the cintsrution and function of these cans It was a simply job and worked above and beyond for the sloped ceiling. Meet ever code requirement. The inspector and i are extremly impressed The options it has is amazing Great great product.

we changed out of bunch of older lights for these potlights, and though i can't speak to the install i can say they are a serious improvement to the lights that we had. i'm very happy i got these, theyre a great price for gimbal lights
