This is a great kit- here are some instructions
This kit works really well and is a great value. Colors are beautiful, supplies are generous to get started. The instructions included are not really needed if you have done marbling before. If you have not, they are not enough. Here you go:1. Using one of the included clear plastic spoons, scoop one spoonful of the powder into the clear water bottle. Fill the bottle to the top with water. Leave it to sit for a few hours, giving the bottle a gentle shake now and then. It will dissolve, even if you have a powder clump in there initially.2. Pour the water into the tray. It will be enough for several prints, even if it does not look like it.3. Gently shake the colors you plan to use. Drop one drop of a light color (white is best) into the tray. The first drop may sink, but the second drop should sit on the surface. Give it a minute to spread-it will spread a lot. Then add additional colors one drop at a time. They will move and interact but the colors will not mix. You can add the drops next to each other, or add a drop into a place that already has some color. Use 2-4 colors as you learn, and observe how they move on the surface. Don’t over do it with the paint or you will saturate your water and be able to make fewer prints. It is still there, and will not be as transparent on the paper as it is in the tray.4. Using one of the plastic sticks, gently move the colors around. You can do straight lines or swirls or both. The colors will move on the surface to create patterns. When you like how it looks, gently place a paper on the surface, from one side of the tray to the other (don't just plop it straight down). Gently press it onto the water to make sure it is completely covered with no air bubbles. You do not need to submerge it but if the edges go under a little that is ok. Give it about 10-15 seconds, then hook the stick under a corner and grab the corner with your fingers to pull it off the water.5. Place the print on a towel. Leave to dry. You may need to press it under a heavy book once it is dry to flatten it out. Be sure it is completely dry first. You may want to rinse it after it has dried as well to remove excess paint and thickened water.6. Drag a strip of newspaper across the water surface to pick up any leftover paint. You can then make more prints until your water is either too dirty or too shallow.7. You can also use the bottle to mix several batches of the water at once, and let them all sit in other containers if you want to make lots of prints at once. The water solution can sit at room temperature for a day or two, but you can refrigerate for longer. Don't use clouded or moldy water.Tips: One of the yellows is actually gold and will be sparkly once dry. There are two sets of colors included- one is more muted and one is very bright/neon. If you decide you really enjoy this, try cold pressed watercolor paper for great prints, and look up how to treat the paper with alum (a safe chemical available in well stocked grocery stores or online).

Fun activity for kids
Works really well and makes really pretty art. Followed the instructions that one of the top reviewers posted and it was a breeze to do!Make sure you clean the tray well after each use or it mixes with the new colors.Kids made cards to give to people and they were impressed they were hand made.

The best kit I have found so far !
This worked way better than other 2 I purchased from s as mother company and had to return as the solution didn’t work beyond 1 batch. This works well and I got almost 2 dozen prints out of the full bottle which just fills tray completely for use but you can either cover or put back in bottle if still clear or just cover tray be sure to stir or shake before next use!

Best of the three I purchased!
I was teaching primary art and purchased three different marbling kits, including this one. This one was my favorite! The size of the bottles was easy for first and second graders to use and the colors were vivid! I had to thin a few of the colors if they were very thick and I needed to buy more carrageenan for the many times I used it, but I would buy this kit again. Also, I used newsprint to clean off the solution after each print - FYI.
