Waterlogged
It works amazing the only problem I had is when I went to take the batteries out the battery compartment was filled with water so I had to get rid of it but man did it work great I would definitely buy it again

Hose fittings
The hose fittings to the pump are to small for the hose. The hose on both that I used was kinked and not properly set in the unit to where it sucks air.

Poorly made
The machine is poorly made. Only one battery terminal can be removed which makes it difficult to change batteries. Also the battery holder is poorly designed and is difficult to remove and replace batteries. I prefer the other model which is available. Sorry I do not remember the brand but it is white and sells for a couple dollars more.

cool pump thats battery operated

Try pump immediately!
We were to use the battery sump pump to empty our 5 gallon bucket during monsoon season, since the drain was not nearby. Well , that did not happen until the end of May, and when we put in the first set of brand new batteries, the pump failed to work. Then we changed those batteries and used another set of brand new Energizers. Same thing, but we cannot return the item. So sad. Best to advertise, use IMMEDIATELY, you are forwarned.
