Amagic Waterproof Outdoor Candles with Remote and Timer

These artificial candles seem to be of good quality. They’re a thick plastic so they shouldn’t melt in the sun like wax LED candles. The only problem I had with these was in trying to open the battery compartment (they each take 3 AA’s). When I tried with the first one, I couldn’t get the cover to turn without feeling like it was going to break. When I finally was able to turn the cover, I found there was a thin rubber gasket underneath. I couldn’t see any reason they were necessary so I took them out, and without the gaskets they open and close easily. With the remote you can turn them on and off and choose flickering or not. They don’t have an automatic timer like some candles, so you have to turn them on every night but you can set the number of hours they stay on, and the remote makes it easy. They flicker nicely, and are definitely bright enough. Very happy with these!

The timer works great, and the brightness is good. I recommend using these outside, as they are “plastic-looking” up close (when compared to my other flameless candles). I put mine inside a lantern, and they look lovely. 4 stars.

I ordered these large pillar candles for an outdoor area that gets a lot of summer sun and heat. A wax candle melted in the lantern for which I bought these candles. The candles are beautiful and appear to be real. What is even better: After 7 months, one of my candles stopped working. Somehow water entered the battery chamber despite being under cover of a porch. I contacted the seller Amagic and they mailed me a replacement asap. This is the best customer service I have encountered in quite a while. I'll be a customer for life. Great product, excellent customer service.

Initially I loved these candles but they aren’t waterproof! We had drilled holes in the lanterns for drainage and put little “feet” on the bottom of the candles to elevate them yet half of them have died. One came back on once it dried but the switch mechanism rusted and it couldn’t be turned on and off or to set the timer. Only purchase if you are using them in a protected location.

These amazing candles are stunning in any room, to set the atmosphere just right. Battery operated and easy to use. Comes in several different colors and sizes, with your remote control you can easily set your timer. I would purchase an item again. We are very happy with this product..
