UHD35 PROJECTOR UHD 3840 X 2160 3600LMNS 1000000:1 HDM

After owning this projector for just over two weeks I thought I'd write a review to try and help anyone looking at this as a potential contender for part of their home theatre setup.First impressions -upon first receiving the projector, you will notice that it is well packaged as you would expect for any mid range home theatre device. Opening the box everything was neatly packed with power leads, remote control, batteries for the control, quick start user guide all basic stuff, everything was in it's own bag to keep dust moisture away from the product.For me this was an upgrade from the Optoma HD141X we had been using everyday for 6-7 years which was amazing and part of the reason we opted for the Optoma over other brands such as Benq, Epson, ViewSonic etc.Straight out of the box you can instantly tell the difference between the 1080p and 4k (noted that the uhd35 is not a native 4k projector at all and uses new technology to achieve the 4k resolution XPR (Xpanded Pixel Resolution)) and the brightness, oh boy the brightness.. I was initially looking at the UHD38 (3000 lumens) but couldn't find one in stock on Amazon.The UHD35 brightness is next level, coming from hd141x (3,000 ANSI Lumens) to the UHD35 (2600 lumens) I was not expecting anything close to the difference in brightness.HDR10 is a big leap forward in terms of the range of colors this projector displays. I keep going back to the HD141x but that is the only reference point I have, the color difference between the two was amazing!I would say the standard settings out of the box are not the best and you will need to tinker with the brightness and contrast, I wouldn't go to deep into the color setting, unless you have a colorimeter and have previous experience configuring displays.Looking online you can pay for a professional display calibration service around £300 - £400 which may seem expensive, but if you have paid out for a 4k projector you're going to want the picture quality the best it can be and these guys have a lot of experience and tools to help it achieve top results.Mainly we use the projector for running movies through a PC with GTX1060 GPU this seems to output 4k video nicely. I have also tested the projector with a PS5 and was hoping that the SPDIF on the projector would output DD/DTS 5.1 audio but sadly SPDIF on this device supports 2.0 stereo only, I've had to buy an audio extractor to get sound from PS5 to my old AV Receiver which does not have HDMI.You will need to upgrade your HDMI cables if you're wanting the most out of the projector, I had previously sunk all power/HDMI cables into the walls of my living room, at that time I did not think about future proofing HDMI cables so the ones I installed are only HDMI 1.4 meaning that if I use these cables I will not be able to achieve 4k @ 60hzThese are things I wish I had known before ordering this projector. I hope this review can help others.Overall I would recommend the UHD35 and I'm happy with my purchase, it's the upgrade I was hoping for when I first looked into upgrading.Thanks - S

Ps5 games look great, as do movies. Set up is easy. In built speakers are better then expected. 5 stars when considering the price.

Magnífico proyector. Muy buena calidad de imagen, con bastantes lúmenes ANSI.Es MUY IMPORTANTE fijarse en ese dato: Los lúmenes ANSI son mediciones estándar de la cantidad de luz que puede ofrecer el proyector. Hay otros proyectores que indican que tienen más lúmenes, pero NO es el valor estandarizado (con lo que puede llevar a engaño).Yo lo utilizo en el exterior, y se ve perfectamente por la tarde. Debido al gran número de lúmenes ANSI no hace falta demasiada oscuridad.Lo compré junto con un maletín protector y un Amazon Fire TV Stick UHD - además de una pantalla de 100 pulgadas. La combinación perfecta. Conecto el Fire Stick a uno de los puertos HDMI del proyector, y lo alimento con la toma USB. No hace falta nada más. Puedo acceder a muchísimo contenido de video, en pantalla grande.Con este proyector hemos pasado un verano estupendo. En casa montamos un "campamento base" y hemos disfrutado de la Eurocopa al completo con varios vecinos. El proyector fue "la excusa" para juntarnos y hacer vida social - mientras disfrutábamos del fútbol en una pantalla enorme.

Provengo da una esperienza con videoproiettore Epson con tecnologia 3-LCD, per altro positiva, ed ho voluto provare questo nuovo prodotto di Optoma, che usa tecnologia DLP, e dichiara una bassissima latenza in 4K UHD, oltre che caratteristiche gaming particolarmente attraenti, in termini di rapidità di risposta e di frequenza di aggiornamento! Senza dimenticare il pieno supporto al 3d con tecnologia DLP-link... La mia valutazione complessiva, ovviamente di tipo qualitativo e non strumentale, è basata sulla visione di contenuti nativi in 4K, di contenuti nativi in 3d, e di giochi PS4 in full-HD, su schermo 80": ci troviamo sicuramente di fronte ad un prodotto di fascia media di qualità veramente eccellente.
