How many batteries are built in this light?

You'd be better off to buy a light using 18650 Li-ion cells, which you can easily replace when they no longer take charge. The 18650 cells are fairly inexpensive. It is as low as $3 per cell and you'd need two cells. You don't have to throw away the light when the battery fails as you do with this one.
