Great Seller & Good Tug of War Toy - Not for Agressive Chewers
Update: After leaving a 3 star review, the company reached out and fixed the situation. I am very pleased with the seller since it isn't their fault my dog is an aggressive chewer. My original review was mid range to let other pet parents who are like myself and buy too many toys that are destroyed this one would last hours too. Now that I know how the strap is, I will make sure to only have this toy available when we're playing tug of war, not as a toy she can lay down and chew to shreds. I'd buy this again with the understanding that it is under supervision only since it is fun to play that way with! Upgraded to 4 stars.-----My dog chewed up the strap in a day. The ball is still in tact so she can play with it, but not tug of war like intended. It should be a little cheaper for as easy as the strap fell apart.

Cautiously optimistic (see below)
It seems like a perfect, reasonably indestructible tug-o-war toy for my new 1-year old puppy, only she has not quite yet figured that out yet. I am not leaving it on the floor for her to chew on, because the strap would be the first thing to get turned into microscopic scree on my carpet well before the toaster set to "light brown" pops up, as she has done to virtually everything else on the floor, including my favorite sandals, running shoes, leashes, a priceless needlepoint rug, the carpet in my office, etc. Instead, I have tried to dangle it in front of her to arouse her interest, but only gets batted around by her paws like a game of tether ball at the moment. I figure that it will be a great toy as soon as she gets out of her Destructo the Wonder Dog phase and learns to fetch toys, balls, etc.

My Puppy Loves This Orange Spiky Toy As A Teether
The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant about paying $10 for this dog toy. Thankfully, my puppy loves it. It's hard to tell which part she likes better because she seems to equally enjoy the orange spiky toy as well as the strap. I'm fine with her chewing on either part, as long as she is happy (and not chewing on other things around the house that she shouldn't.) My pup is only 3 months old so I cannot comment as to how this might hold up under use with a big dog but for her, it's perfect.THREE MONTH UPDATE: My pup is six months old now, has her adult teeth, and is a monster chewer. The strap is shredded up now but still attached. However, the toy part is still in perfect condition and holding up extremely well to her daily chewing. Just wanted to give a quick update to say that my original 5-star rating still stands. She has destroyed a lot of her toys, but not this one. Excellent value.

I definitely recommend this product
The media could not be loaded. My 25lb terrier mix Blu is a big fan of the Nordic Doggy Tug of War toy. He likes to play with it solo too, not just play tug-o-war with me. He likes the strap as much as the plastic ring. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because Blu was able to chew off some of the orange spikes on the ring the first day. Luckily, he had no interest in eating them. Please find pics and a video below. I definitely recommend this product. Blu generally destroys toys very easily, and this toy will be around for a long time. He loves it!

It is a very nice dog toy and very well made but unfortunately my dog just does not like it for some reason. He is a 2 year old all white Siberian Husky and if you know anything about Husky's they can be very stubborn. He has always had the very heavy duty ropes to play tug of war with and he just wants to grab the strap and not use the part he is suppose to. I'm going to see if I can't find a friend to give it to for their dog. But it is a very good quality product. :(

At first, my Aussie wasn't as interested in this toy as in tennis balls which is what i usually throw for him. But I stuck some hot dog pieces in the grooves of the ball and he started to grab it and toss it when art lay on the ground, and to grab it as we walked and I let it hand by my side. He seems to like to jump and grab it by the strap just below the ball and tug. He's a puppy and the ball may be a bit big for his mouth. It's sturdy which is a must for my chewer.

Strap broke after 2 days
Strap was broken after 2 days. Construction is terrible. My dog definitely falls in the "medium" size category, and I would not consider him to be an "extreme" chewer. I thought that the stitching looked a little flimsy in the picture, but maybe it was strong thread or something - it is a pull toy after all it should be pretty tough - so I gave it a try. My dog loved the toy, but after 2 days of pulling and chewing on it - he liked the strap as much as the chew toy, the strap broke not only at the part that held the toy, but the loop where you put your hand - and my dog didn't even chew on that part - it just gave way. When looking at it, the thread they used looked like the same grade that I would use to sew a button on to my shirt. I would expect some sort of reinforced stitching, or industrial grade thread/cord, but this was just very poorly made. I would love to have a quality version of this toy, but this is not it. Idea is great, execution is terrible. I would not recommend this toy to anyone

Tug o' War
Using this as a hanging pull toy and its held up quite well! The ring itself is soft, so leaving its fate to heavy chewers is probably not recommended. However I have this attached to a bungee cord and my pup takes to it quick! The handle itself is made of a durable nylon material that appears to withstand a lot of rough play. This is one of the few toys that has survived her wrath. The ridges on the toy double as a brushing aid for the teeth. My only complaint would be that the opening in the center of the toy isn't big enough for my pup to get her snout in fully, but that might be a good thing.

Great product, well made and very sturdy
Great product, well made and very sturdy. The strap could maybe be a little longer but that's not really an issue. The dogs love it.
