Very good book about Tezuka
By now unless you have been living under a rock, you must know who tezuka is. The book gives you a good look at his work and himself, but it's a slow one, made more than a decade ago. This single volumen is too big to carry and sometimes the fonts are too small to read, I had to buy a magnifying glass that used several times. It's a good buy, but if you can get it on digital, you'll save a lot of space. It's a great book for Tezuka and manga fans in general.

It looks awful and unreadable on kindle
I bought it to read on my Kindle, and when I opened it, the text was illegible. It's not that the file is damaged, it's just that it can't be read properly. I had to request a refund and return the digital book. I don't recommend it. I was really looking forward to reading about the life and work of Tezuka.

Awesome!
Nearly 800 pages but each one crafted beautifully to honor Osamu Tezuka's story!

Great book, massive, but easy to handle
This book on Tezuka is massive, but good to handle when reading and also the paper quality is rather good, offering a comfortable reading experience. At 900+ pages, that's essential. The subject matter, the quality of the drawings and the story are all enticing. I would certainly recommend this book to any adult (jit's not just for kids or teens) on the basis of the great story and the manga format. And it's about the father of manga, Osamu Tezuka. Very satisfied.

Whether or not you like manga or Tezuka, it is worth reading
Wow, this manga is massive. I almost yelled, red “yellow pages”?Anyhow, this massive manga is worth reading, regardless of whether you like manga or Tezuka. It depicts so well how one creator pioneered in new fields and what he did to excel in those fields. Tezuka captured the imagination of fickle-minded readers and viewers, although it was not always easy. From a big perspective, it is a good history book on manga and animation, the pillars of Japanese pop culture. It should be on a bookshelf of every school library in Japan.

Bellissima storia della storia dei Manga
Unico difetto...é un pò troppo lungo (900 pagine e passa), con 200 pagine in meno sarebbe un capolavoro..vale comunque la pena di leggerlo!
